One of my favourite songs of the year so im very happy to see that radio is totally embracing it too.

Another great Pink track after the not so perfect "Raise your glass". I cant wait to see what she comes back with when the next album comes out.

Another ones of those love or hate tunes. I still love it. May have been a one hit wonder. But what a great song to have it with.

I cant stand this song. I understand its appeal but I just dont like it. I find it so bloody annoying.

This is another one of those songs that even though I like, im still very suprised its so high in the countdown.

All his songs just sound exactly the same. And get those bloody glasses of man. Not a fan at all.

Since they reformed I have only really loved two songs my them, this and "Ruled the world". I cant wait till Robbie goes solo again.

Radio really do love these guys. This song isnt to bad I suppose.

Im not a fan of these one bit but this one isnt that bad actually.

I really like this song. Very catchy and just has that summer vibe.

Its an ok pop song but why the hell is this so high. She is average and so is the song. "The Flood" and "Parachute" are much better songs in my opinion.

 

 

26 - Lady GaGa - Poker Face - 85,066 plays

 

"Just dance" started her career but this was the song that really kicked it up a gear. Still think its a great song now.

 

 

25 - Duffy - Mercy - 86,039 plays

 

Will she ever come back with a new album, and will it be as big as this one. Probably not but its still a great album with this fantastic song.

 

 

24 - Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys - 86,773 plays

 

Not a fan but totally appreciate that this is a great pop track. She is just so cheesy in music video, I cringe for her.

 

 

23 - One Republic - Apologise - 87,908 plays

 

I love this song. I just love how he sings it, such a great voice.

 

 

Some great songs there. "Beat Again" is the only thing JLS have done that I'd describe as a 4/5 moment, "Viva La Vida" is great as is "Poker Face". I'm assuming the latter's big brother will be far higher by virtue of being released several months later so having more stations being counted who played it.

 

I have to say I'm in two minds about your hatred of "Hey Ya!" - on balance I can see why the song could be a little annoying, but every time I hear it I just find it so loveable :lol: would have been massive in this sales climate, especially given it floated around the top 10/20 for ever then suddenly dropped out when they stopped stocking the CD.

22 - Beyonce - Crazy in love - 89,087 plays

 

Up until the last couple of years, this was actually in the top 3 songs of the countdown. Still love this song. It hasnt aged badly at all.

 

 

21 - Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse - Valerie - 89,366 plays

 

I think we would all agree that this song was everywhere when it first came out. It certainly lasted long enough in the uk singles chart. I never actually got sick of it, still love it now. Total anthem.
