October 20, 201113 yr 29 - Coldplay - Viva la vida - 81,785 plays Im not a fan of these one bit but this one isnt that bad actually. dvgZkm1xWPE&ob Oh, I thought this would be in the top 10 :( Ah well, #29 isn't awful. My favourite song in the whole top 1,000. Edited October 20, 201113 yr by Bré
October 20, 201113 yr So, two acts in the top-20 have two entries which I assume are Kings of Leon and Sugababes. And #29 is INCREDIBLE, given that we talk about the biggest radio songs in 10 years, people always seem to forget it. Even getting into the top-1000 is a big achievement. I can see Kings of Leon getting to #1 actually, or Take That, or Cee Lo. Snow Patrol (with Bray's favourite song) and Sugababes (with another radio stamper) might have a chance too.
October 20, 201113 yr Author 20 - Take That - Shine - 89,938 plays Cant stand this song. I have no idea why its so high in this countdown. JwC1Ctrj6Xk&ob
October 20, 201113 yr Author 19 - Adele - Rolling in the deep - 90,492 plays I dont think anyone would have thought Adele would came back and be as popular as she is. I must admit I wasnt a fan the first time round but I love this song and the album is amazing. rYEDA3JcQqw&ob
October 20, 201113 yr Author 18 - Rihanna - Only girl in the world - 92,034 plays This really has been her era. In fact every era has been her era lol. Personally I think 6 albums in 6 years in a bit to much but obviously the people dont. Loud to me is her strongest and I love this song. pa14VNsdSYM
October 20, 201113 yr Author 17 - Sugababes - About you now - 92,687 plays The amazing Sugababes. This is a total anthem to me. Pure pop jem. Video is rubbish though. XvoAvPjADsE&ob
October 20, 201113 yr Author 16 - Maroon 5 - This Love - 92,823 plays Another great song from Maroon 5. They really did have two great songs one after the other back then. XPpTgCho5ZA&ob
October 20, 201113 yr Oh, is Moloko's The Time Is Now not even top 1,000 then? Considering it was in the top 10 of the same 'most played songs of the decade' thing where The Feeling's LIWYC was also top 10, I'm very surprised at that.
October 20, 201113 yr Author 15 - Kings of Leon - Use Somebody - 94,440 plays Another group that seemed to have 2 massive radio hits. This one is ok. I never thought it was that amazing. gnhXHvRoUd0&ob
October 20, 201113 yr Maroon 5 were huge on radio in 2004, although I'm surprised they're so much higher than Keane. The likes of Maroon 5 and Scissor Sisters here are fantastic achievements really. My predictions for the top 3 are Chasing Cars, Sex on Fire and Haven't Met You Yet. I'm also going for Bruno Mars or Cee Lo as an outside shot...
October 20, 201113 yr Oh, is Moloko's The Time Is Now not even top 1,000 then? Considering it was in the top 10 of the same 'most played songs of the decade' thing where The Feeling's LIWYC was also top 10, I'm very surprised at that. It was released in April 2000 so almost two years before this started.
October 20, 201113 yr Author Oh, is Moloko's The Time Is Now not even top 1,000 then? Considering it was in the top 10 of the same 'most played songs of the decade' thing where The Feeling's LIWYC was also top 10, I'm very surprised at that. The time is now was released in 2000. This is a countdown from 2002, the year the airplay chart started to be published. So no songs before 2002 are included, unless they appeard in the airplay top 100 from this year
October 20, 201113 yr Author 14 - Jessie J - Price Tag - 95,306 plays This song has been massive this year. Then again this whole year has been massive for her. This is an amazing song though. qMxX-QOV9tI&ob

October 20, 201113 yr Author 11 - James Morrison feat Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings - 104,737 plays This song came out of nowhere for me. I think I only heard it for the first time when it was leaving the top 40. I actually really like it, just didnt expect it to be so high in the countdown. 26PAgklYYvo
