Olly Murs is supporting Robbie Williams on his European tour next year It's the Daily Star so it must be true <_<

OLLY Murs’ wildest dreams have finally come true.

After catching Robbie Williams’ eye on the X Factor two years ago, their bromance has reached dizzying heights.

Olly has landed the support slot on Robbie’s European tour next year.

The X Factor stud bagged Rob as his mentor, with the Take That legend, 37, vowing to take him under his wing.

After hours of male bonding and chest puffing around Robbie’s Los Angeles mansion he asked Olly to come on tour with him.

Olly, 27, revealed: “It was great seeing Robbie again, we haven’t had chance to chat in a long time.

“He’s always been really supportive of me, he’s a great bloke.

“We chatted about his new album and I heard a few bits. It was shame it was all finished because I would have loved to have worked with him.

“But in the meantime he has asked if I would support him on tour next year.

“We are just thrashing it out now, but that would be amazing. Imagine going on tour with Robbie Williams. I’d love it.”

But Olly quickly realised he would need to find a wing man for the tour after parties.

The only Special Brew tee-total Robbie likes these days is a cup of PG Tips.

Olly added: “Robbie doesn’t really like to party.

“But Gary (Barlow) treated us to a really expensive steak dinner in LA. I offered to pay, but he insisted.

“He’s a real gent Gary, a really lovely bloke like that.”

Beckhams’ fortune close to £200m

In his sixth monthly bulletin, the compiler of the Sunday Times Rich List reports on the wealth pouring into the Beckham household

David and Victoria Beckham are poised to become the country’s richest celebrity couple, leaping ahead of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, together worth £180m, in the current list of the wealthiest husbands and wives.

As Becks sees out the last weeks of his current American contract for LA Galaxy, he is - at 36 - playing some of his best football for many years. He will hope to cap his career in 2012 with a place in the British team for the London Olympics.

Off the pitch all is well with the midfield maestro’s finances even if he hangs up his boots, which is unlikely with several European sides are chasing him. His personal company Footwork Productions saw its sales rise by over 31% in 2010 to £14.9m, while Becks himself saw his company salary jump by 28.4% to nearly £11.6m. In all Footwork Productions has paid him nearly £78m since 2002 in salaries and dividends.

Even if he does give up the beautiful game, Becks can look forward to a lucrative career of sponsorship and endorsements., This month, it was revealed that he will become a new face of Sainsbury’s, the supermarket giant, replacing Jamie Oliver. Beckham will front the Sainsbury's Active Kids campaign and promote its sponsorship of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. The deal should add between £3.5m and £5m to the Beckham family coffers and could be extended beyond the Games.

Wife Victoria is no slouch in the earnings stakes either. With her pop career as a Spice Girl now history, she is having huge success on the fashion front. The mother-of-four's clothing range generated sales of over £15m in the first three months of 2011, a rise of 71% on the previous year. Her VB range of clothes and accessories, with gowns which sell for up to £5,000, has been worn by the likes of Kate Winslet and Cheryl Cole. If the sales continue, they could top £60m for the year. There are also plans to launch a range of children’s wear.

Their combined assault on the worlds of fashion, food and football should push the golden couple’s fortune from its present value of £165m to nearer the £200m mark in the 2012 Sunday Times Rich List..

For rock star Phil Collins the money is not rolling in quite so easily these days. The 2010 accounts of his company, Philip Collins Ltd, showed a fall in turnover from £28m to £7.9m and profits down from £18.2m to just £93,000. Still the ex-Genesis drummer - worth £115m in the current Rich List - was able to push his salary up from £4.2m to £4.8m. Perhaps he should take a leaf out of Robbie Williams' book. The singer recently quit the reformed Take That after a reunion lasting little more than a year, but the band made hay in that time. A new album and a sell-out tour added £10m to his bank balance. Williams has also signed a new solo recording contract with Universal Music to end his nine-year deal with EMI which was worth £80m. At the time he claimed the EMI deal made him "rich beyond my wildest dreams". His recent success should add considerably to his current Rich List valuation of £90m.

A fortune from car parts

One man who is certainly rich, but not beyond his wildest dreams, is Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia. A refugee from Idi Amin's Uganda, he borrowed £5,000 to start a car parts business when he was just 18. In October he sold Wembley-based Euro Car Parts to an American group, LQK Corporation, for £225m. Ahluwalia, who is staying to run the business with his management team, stands to make a further £55m if the company hits growth targets for 2012 and 2013. He was 13 when his family fled from the Ugandan tyrant, spending time in a refugee camp. Arriving in Britain, he found the markets of Petticoat Lane and Liverpool Street more to his liking than school. His break came in 1978 when he borrowed money from his father and Barclays bank to buy a struggling car parts shop in Willesden, London, called Highway Autos. He never looked back. But he can’t have been surprised at the windfall as we valued him in the 2011 Rich List at - yes - £225m.

Stock market turmoil has been endemic in recent weeks and the masters of the financial universe have not been immune to the consequences. Data provider Hedge Fund Research released figures recently showing that September was the worst month for hedge funds since October 2008 when Lehman Brothers collapsed. Odey Asset Management wrote to its investors saying that funds managed by founder Crispin Odey lost 8.3% of their value in September alone. October is likely to have been even worse as the Greek crisis intensified. It may even lead to a downgrade of the Odey family wealth (Odey and his wife Nichola Pease) from their current lofty valuation £453m.

Scientific approach pays dividends

One hedge fund manager is bucking the gloom. David Harding, boss of Winton Capital, banked more than £60m last year. A theoretical physics graduate, Harding founded Winton in 1997 after selling his previous venture, AHL, to hedge fund giant Man Group. His 2010 windfall was in line with his previous year's earnings but was dwarfed by the £120m he collected in 2008. Winton, which uses scientific research to spot patterns in market behaviour, has seen funds under management rise by about 45% to more than £16 billion since the end of 2010. Even when market gyrations hit other funds, Winton has been able to make money. So look out for a rise in 2012 for Harding, who is currently worth £410m.

Rich List company owners unveiling figures for 2010-11 in the last month, continue to follow a favourable trend with at least 10 showing profit increases against each of the few whose profits have fallen. Again this must be good news for the economy both in terms of corporation tax receipts, employment and hopefully investment, which will yield more business activity. Among the top performers have been the Watson family in Northern Ireland, whose Chain Reaction online cycle business (the largest in the world) has seen its profits soar from £8m to over £13m. It has recently been valued at over £200m, which will mean a huge rise in the 2012 Rich List for Chris Watson and his family, valued currently at a mere £75m.

The number of lottery winners making the Rich List continues to rise. We will be welcoming Cambridgeshire couple Dave and Angie Dawes to the next list on the back of their recent £101m win in a EuroMillions draw. They will be joining earlier winners Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs, who collected a cheque for £161m

Take That’s giant gift to Fylde charity

POP sensations Take That have made a giant gift to a Blackpool charity – and we mean giant!

Fans of the chart-topping band were left in awe at this summer’s mesmerising Progress shows which featured a giant statue towering over the stage.

Now ‘The Big Man’ – as he was fondly named by band members Gary, Robbie, Howard, Jason and Mark – has taken his final bow to benefit Trinity Hospice.

The huge structure’s metal bones have been broken down and raised a whopping £15,000.

The donation to the Bispham charity – which also houses Brian House Children’s Hospice – was made by kind-hearted Blackpool man Simon Rimmer who worked as part of the production crew on the tour.

He was given the statue by tour management and was determined the jaw-dropping gift should help a local cause.

Simon, 50, who lives on West Park Drive, said: “When I heard there were no plans for The Big Man after the tour, I was determined to make sure it didn’t go to waste.

“I lost my mother to leukaemia in February and my father-in-law has just been diagnosed with cancer so it seemed fitting Trinity should benefit. I’m proud I was able to save the statue and give the money to such a worthwhile charity.

“This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to raise a large amount of money for a good cause.”

Linzi Young, fundraising manager for Trinity Hospice, said she was gobsmacked when she opened the letter and found the £15,000 donation.

She said: “It’s hard to believe The Big Man travelled through Europe, was seen by 1.7 million of fans yet eventually made its way to Blackpool!

“We are absolutely thrilled Simon thought of us for such an amazing opportunity .

“We would like to reassure all Take That fans he’s been put to good use - helping to support the services and care we offer .

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to the production company, Simon, the entire team and of course Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie.”

A spokesman for the band today told The Gazette: “Take That are thrilled The Big Man could help raise money for such a worthy cause.”

The wooden Big Man was built around a valuable aluminium sub-frame and it was this which was broken down and sold.

Simon was given the statue - one of two used on the tour - after working in logistics with the stage crew.

He was responsible for installing and removing statues after each performance.

Tour bosses decided Simon could break down and sell off the statue as long as it was not used commercially by anyone else.

He was inspired to give the cash to charity after the other statue from the tour was donated to a charity in Holland to help save a windmill.

Simon, who is now working on indie band The Kooks tour, was given a helping hand by Fleetwood firm Richardson Transactions who transported the metal.

In a bid to boost Trinity’s coffers further, Simon also donated a few pieces of the original statue and some Take That memorabilia including one of the jackets they wore on the tour.

The collection is going to be auctioned online to help raise further funds.

It will also be available for viewing and bidding at this year’s Trinity Hospice Ball on November 18 at The Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Today's piffle story. I love that word. Piffle.

Robbie Williams gave no hint he would leave Take That to go it alone

Robbie Williams had no intention of leaving Take That for a second time, if backstage footage from the group’s Progress Live DVD is anything to go by.

‘It’s ranged from being brilliant to religious, to life-defining,’ Williams said, gushing about their reunion.

‘And I hope I never take it for granted because I love it and I love being a part of it. I love being up there with everyone. You know, it does definitely feel like a band.’

But Robbie’s latest buzz about the group failed to last. Only weeks after the summer concerts ended, the 37-year-old suddenly announced he was going it alone once again.

And with X Factor judge Gary Barlow recently ramping up his own solo foray, concerned bandmate Howard Donald is also seen on camera fretting about the man band splitting altogether.

The 43-year-old singer said: ‘We’re at the highest possible point we can be, tour-wise and album-wise. We’ve done much better than I expected. It would be complete sacrilege if we actually said “Let’s call it a day. Let’s stop”.’

ROBBIE Williams looks far from fancy in a dress as he sports a frock for his Halloween party.

The heavily tattooed Take That star impersonated Jersey Shore star Deena at the bash held in his Hollywood home.

And the rocker insists his outfit was the most successful of the night.

Writing on his blog he said: "I know it's late but happy Halloween.

"If you're wondering, I was Deena from Jersey Shore, but I'd taken my wig off at this point and was throwing some serious poker face.

"FYI ... Yes I did win."

Deena Cortese joined the cast of the hit MTV reality show last year.

It focuses on the life and loves of a group of Italian Americans in New Jersey.

Hitmaker Rob, who recently signed a huge new deal with Universal records, is a self-confessed reality TV junkie.

His band mate Gary Barlow recently complained that visits to see Rob are marred by his obsession with the shows.

He said: "I stay at Rob's house now when I go out to LA and I have a great time.

"But, he's hooked on reality telly so he only ever wants to talk about Big Brother."

Robbie Williams Lost Virginity In School Uniform :smoke:

Robbie Williams admits he lost his virginity when he was wearing his school uniform.

The 37-year-old star - who is now married to actress Ayda Field - was first intimate with a girl while he was attending the St. Margaret Ward Roman Catholic School in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands.

He said: "I was wearing a blazer, tie, shirt and a pair of Farah slacks. It wasn't a court appearance. We had to go to school in uniform."

In an unusual interview on Robbie's Rudebox radio station, the Take That singer also asked his mother-in-law Gwen what she wore when she had her first sexual encounter.

She said: "A night shirt. A night gown. And a smile."

Speaking to Ayda, Robbie - who has previously admitted he struggles to stay slim - also revealed he wouldn't mind if she put on weight.

He said: "I would love you all the same, but I know you wouldn't be happy."

Ayda responded: "Do I put the donut down now?"

Robbie recently revealed he wanted to start having babies in the near future, possibly in 2012.

He said: "Ayda wants a football team. I want two. A boy and a girl.

"[We're going to call them] Woody and Sonny! Cool, eh? She wants to get on it now, but, I just got back off tour. There's a stretch from now until Christmas and then, we'll do some practising."
