All these people that have bought Birdy, what it is like?

 

I'm intrigued as the track selection is pretty darn amazing for a covers album.

 

I said I never wanted to hear any of it but there's an album sampler on Youtube I found which shows off a fair chunk of 7 of the songs so I gave in. 1901 and People Help The People are the only ones that I don't find utterly horrible. I honestly think it's an album you buy if you don't hold the originals in high regard. I love all of the originals, they're all stripped back and beautiful enough as they are, they can't be improved by something like this which is too similar a style. I think I'd rather listen to Swagger Jagger than the whole of Terrible Love.
