Yes, their increasing but as is the rest of the top 10 in Dark Green, I wouldn't think too much into it.

 

I'm hoping Justin Timberlake does not go above 65% tomorrow and increasing to 75% on Wednesday. Hopefully promotion on Thursday and Friday could allow them to remain number one on iTunes. Like I said there 62% ahead of #03 so I if they do drop from number one next week, I expect a 01-02 chart run.

 

I expect Radio 1 to keep it on it's A-List for another week now which I guess is more exposure, and I expect airplay will pick up more next week with the hype "this weeks number one etc"

It's still a sale increase. Instead of just the girls gaining sales, all the top 10 is. Still, it's a few more sales for the girls (and for the rest of the top 10, yes, but we only care about their sales! :lol: )

 

It's good because they have been white for a few updates. Now it's green, so it's good.

#11 on Uk Tv Airplay, although once the mids come out on Wednesday, I'm sure it will be able to remain top 10 with the midweek top 10 programmes etc!

I thought they were on Capital today? I'm sure their official site posted they would be along with the list of all the other promo. Was tuned in just now but they said Nicole Scherzinger is on the show today... hmm.

 

So no promo today or tomorrow...? Eek. Hopefully they stay stable then and the fall isn't too bad.

Certain individuals in this topic desperately need to get a grip and stop micro-analysing every 0.03% gain Justin makes on the Saturdays. I mean seriously now. TAKE STOCK OF YOUR LIVES.

 

 

THANK YOU! Guys, it isn't the end of the world if Justin gains on them, they've still got a substantial lead! I wouldn't be worried until he's at like 95% and still dark green while they're dark red. I'd say that's highly unlikely to happen for a little while yet.

How much of an impact can a video have on a single in the UK? I didn't think they did have much impact but JT is a big star so I guess it's different here. Would it really help him close the gap by a big amount? I mean surely most people would already have the song and album?

It'll (re)generate interest (obviously) but considering he's #2 and his album is #1 I wouldn't understand a massive increase if it does occur. Have they been showing his BRIT performance as his music video on music channels? I've never seen it.

Hopefully it premieres American daytime/evening, which would be late tonight in the UK right? So hopefully then the girls could, fingers crossed, cling on until tomorrow morning if he does blow up.

 

 

 

EDIT: Anyway, Kworb updated a little while ago. The Sats are green, as is Justin and he's at 0.5625. So no changes. Hopefully it maintains its stability today.

I read somewhere that its premiering on some talent show which would be at night so there would be no effect until Wednesday morning here. :)
