Strictly doesn't usually have this big an effect! :o I imagine even if she'd sung something else this would have happened anyway...

I really hope 1D stall at #2.

pretty sure there was an advert for her album as well during x factor or i'm a celeb which was basically a 30 second advert of jar of hearts.

The Saturdays need to be around #15 tonight and hopefully after their daybreak performance manage to be top 10 combined.

I know it will keep rising, but that's not great!

Edit 69.8% now....

Actually it's awesome :kink:
I can't see One Direction getting number one this week, I can't believe Rihanna looks likely to keep Jls & One Direction off the number one spot!
I think it is very easy to underestimate just how big rihanna is in the UK right now. She has sold 1.6million albums in a year, that pretty amazing and her singles sales are off the chart.

Love 'Jar of Hearts' but I can't believe how MASSIVE it has been

Very surprised the rabid Saturdays fanbase haven't ensured they're top 10 already. I think One Direction will get it, even if Rihanna is back on top AGAIN next week before the hideous X Factor charity single takes it...

Aren't OD performing on either Children in Need event next week? If so, I think they may have more of a chance of actually keeping number 1 (I'm sure they'll be there in the first mids anyway)

The good news is that Jls were already 82% of Rihanna last week, One Direction are 70% of her. I think One Direction will most likely be at number #1 until Friday's mid but I think Rihanna should sneak it especially with the weekend effect etc!

Im sure these first day sales are very front loaded as well, can't see them selling strongly past wednesday.

I wouldn't write off The Collective just yet, if 100k watching CIN on Friday download the song for a pound then it will pick up extremely fast. Hope it does well, I know it isnt the best version ever but its for a great charity so I dont understand why people are enjoying it not doing as well (Its better than some of the rubbish we have seen at number 1 over the years)

I wouldn't donate £1 to charity for a song that I don't like. I would rather donate £1 to the charity itself.

But you if you buy the song you are donating that £1 anyway?

She's performing on XF on the 27th so I can see this being top 10-15.
