Just looking back on ChartStats, and noticed that this time last year, P!nk's 'Raise Your Glass' debuted at number 13. RYG was one of nine debuts to the Top 40, the others being tracks from Take That, McFly, Black Eyed Peas, Shayne Ward, Gyptain, Royal British Legion (with that 2 minutes of silence!), My Chemical Romance, and Ellie Goulding. Since then, RYG had spent 5 weeks in the Top 20, 14 weeks in the Top 40, 22 weeks in the Top 75, and 29 weeks in the Top 100, selling near enough 300k! :w00t:

The track was a instant click for me! A So What II :P The song remains in my Top 5 Favourite P!nk Singles, and I love the line "So raise your- Oh, f**k"

So what's your opinion on the track? What was your first reaction to the song? How would you rate it/place it in your all time favourite P!nk songs?

A week since 'Raise Your Glass' debuted at #13? I'm pretty sure it's been a year now. :P

I can't believe it's been over a year though, still not bored of it one bit.

I still think the title of Raise Your Glass sounds more ballady than uptempo :P

Seriously? :P I've never heard a more uptemo sounding title! Similar to the title for Rihanna's Cheers (Drink to That)

Damn! I hope no-one had noticed that! :P I even edited the title in the same minute as you posted

"So raiiiiiiiisseee youuuuuuur glaaaaaassssss, one last toast before we must part" :smoke: BALLAD!

I still don't rate it that highly and would never listen to it out of choice, however hearing it on a night out is good.

I didn't imagine it'd go on to become the successful long runner it did though, it's been so EVERYWHERE since then. Hard to imagine it only peaked at #13.

True. But most other times, you raise your glass at weddings, birthdays, celebrations (i.e happy times! :D ). I guess even funerals are celebrations of some kind, since your celebrating/remembering the life of someone :P

How I LOVE this. I prefer this to So What. Love the message and the vid

I remember I bought the Greatest Hits when I was on holiday last year  Love this song, one of my fave up beat tracks by Pink :D

And I'm with Regina, I thought the title sounded like a slowie when I heard it
