Queen of STANDING with her HANDS on her HIPS and SIGHING, when not YELLING at her WORKFORCE. OKAY?
For woman who has had a fairly decent career i find ger acting in emmerdale weal, there are far better actors actresses on the show and other soaps aswell.

She isn't really a good actress at all. I think her fame is all founded purely upon Castaway (which was sh/te) with Oliver Reed. I can only think of two things she's done that she's actually been good in ... LA Law and Liar Liar with Jim Carrey.

She looks good though.

I haven't watched Emmerdale in ages, but made a point of doing so today as I'd heard that Shadrach had been killed off ( :o ). Mark Charnock did an absolutely sterling job.
QUEEN Natasha is leaving before the year is out. :( I guess we all knew it wouldn't be far off but still.

i guess she goes down for marks murder then? wih maisie going will nathan be left? i hope so.. theres bound to be yet another disfuctional rich family move in to home farm...

So Nathan purposely dug up Mark then?

i didnt get that, nathal looked as if he had, but walked down a oad...??? odd??. but then the dog clearly was digging up undisturbed ground..?? emmerdales continuity has never been able to be scrutinised too closely...... i mean, nico and jimbo buying the pub? dont you need a license to do that?

Emmerdale 'shopping list' causes outrage!

Also ... if you look down the shopping list it is:

R ice

S alad

E ggs

I do like that people posting comments can see the humour in it. Laugh at the woman who complained to the show though ... covering her young son's eyes ... she was upset by a few saucy words on a shopping list ... yet lets her son sit through a series riddled with murder, sex, drink, more sex!

I love Emmerdale. I'm going to go back to watching it regular from now on.

I must have missed this part while i was away, so can anyone tell me what Nikhil's big secret was?
Nikhil's highly believable big secret was that he is the world's most unlikely virgin.

gotta say .... much though i rate emmerdale highly, theres two great bits of nonsense that spoil it..

firstly, nicola cannot just take over a pub.

secondly, you cannot just bury someone on your land..

why oh why does that great drama spoil itself with such ludicrous plots?

as for nikhil being the worlds most unlikely virgin... im not so sure, why not? it was only a sub-plot anyway, it was only a storyline, and if someone has some moral values in this world i see no reason why he shouldnt play the part of a virgin.

I guess it's plausible in theory but he's gorgeous - if he wasn't putting out word would soon get around, and he and Jai shared the anecdote about how they used to go on nights out together and take girls home so Jai clearly mixed in the same circles - why would he not have gotten wind of Nikhil's secret before now? Women talk and if he was taking them home and nothing was happening it would get back to Jai. I found the fact that Jai had no idea the most ludicrous part of the storyline.

Anyway I'm still a couple of weeks behind (only just at the point where Natasha and Nathan set about framing Faye) but I'm LOVING the Wylde drama. Great to see Nathan appearing to actually - shock horror - CARE about his mother and his family, and of course lots of Natasha sneaking around looking put out which is my favourite thing ever.

the most rubbish episode for a very long time... utter cack and is as daft as anything eastenders have presented.

move on now.... tbh im beginning to doubt the dingles validity, i think theyve practically done all they can with them.

I'm STILL almost two weeks behind (catching up is such a chore) but after a pretty terrible week of episodes (Declan REPEATEDLY having the exact same argument with Natasha, everybody having a distinctly pantomime fear of Nicola taking over the pub) the one where Diane realised she'd been duped and Shadrach met his end was an absolute blinder. Wonderfully played with a really good supporting performance from Val, and Marlon actually moved me when he found Shadders in the river (and when he was flipping out about him being drunk). When he isn't just dicking around Mark Charnock can be a really bloody good actor. Also some nice stuff with Viv/Brenda. Vg.
