November 23, 201113 yr Oh, I thought Adele was in great danger of dropping out of the top 5 this week :o Back in the top 3 and increasing in sales yet again, how many weeks has it sold in excess of 100k now? Like, 30+? :cheer: Nice increase for 19 as well and I'm really surprised it's still sticking around in the top 40 - it's now nearly as high in the USA as it is here! I was expecting Take Care to sell more than 659k to be honest... a strong debut anyway. Will be battling next week for a second week at #1 with Rihanna I presume - I'd say Rihanna is a cert for #1 but she's never had a US #1 album before (seems very odd what with her 11 Hot 100 #1 hits!) so perhaps not. EDIT: 'Take Care' sold even less on the Billboard chart (631k) :( The US market seems to be much, much more receptive to Christmas albums than the UK. Bublé's sales should continue to go up and up until the end of the year and I'm sure it'll snatch a week or two at #1 as we approach the big day... before plummetting right out of the chart  Oh dear at Mac Miller. Blue 'slide' park indeed. Edited November 23, 201113 yr by Bré
November 23, 201113 yr That's nevertheless big numbers for Drake :o He should be happy that he has a bundle of cash waiting for him right now :kink: May I ask where is Gaga's Born This Way album this week and how much has it sold as well?
November 25, 201113 yr Drake sold 631k on Soundscan Michael Buble is a dead cert #1 for next week, Rihanna will probably be #4 behind Drake and Nickelback BTW is #72 and has sold ~1.9 million to date.
November 25, 201113 yr I really do wonder how HDD and SS can come up with such different figures sometimes - I can understand a few thousand difference (like with Bublé) but there's 28k between the figures given for Take Care
