Island are handling the release of this in February. 'Somebody That I Used to Know' has a bit of a following here I've noticed. Excellent track and 8 weeks at #01 in Australia :o

I don't think it's really a "good" song but I like it if that makes any sense. Very catchy. Could be huge even in the US I think with a big push (or an Apple commercial or something). Sounds like a modern Police single or something.

 

The rest of the album is pretty dreadful though.

Aye. The album is mostly rubbish and I prefer 'Hearts a Mess' to 'Somebody That I Used to Know'. I do think the single will be pretty big over here though, perhaps a surprise number one?

Somebody that I used to know is probably the pop song I've listened most to for the last many years, sounds very good. It's not my impression that any of his other songs are worth listening to though.

 

Yes we are all fed up of it but this is amazing.

I've recently noticed Eyes Wide Open being played in shops - I've heard it in Boots and TK Maxx.
