Fantastic video. I think she's a LOT less pretentious than GaGa

I actually think it's rather poor for Lana's standards. It's a fine video but probably her worst/least amazing. Song is still incredible though.
I'm still struggling to accept that 'This Is What Makes Us Girls' wasn't released as a single.

'Ride' is quickly becoming the best song of 2012 for me. And that video! *.*

I just want it to be November 12 already. :(

Easily the best song on the album.

If anyone likes the National Anthem demo, then you will like this:

Lana did say a while ago in an interview that she might be making more videos, but not releasing the songs as singles. I remember Dark Paradise being one that she mentioned.

Wow!!!! This is amazing!!! It's like a hybrid of Video Games and Born To Die! I'm already obsessed and I'm on my third listen!! The video is nice too! I love all the dialogue she presents, she's just too perfect...
The video for Ride is really amazing. How long until Tarantino directs a video for her or gets her to do a song for a sounddtrack?

This. Should've scrapped "Blue Jeans" and moved "National Anthem" up to third single, then slotted TIWMUG in before "Summertime Sadness" and "Ride".

Well really they should have skipped National Anthem altogether seeing as it bombed all over the place. Summertime Sadness should have been released everywhere.

I thought "Blue Jeans" killed her momentum, anything she released would have struggled after that.

Eh. Summertime Sadness did well everywhere it was released, after Blue Jeans flopped. I do think if it were pushed in the UK instead of National Anthem it would have done far better. But yes I wouldn't have been against them releasing something else in place of Blue Jeans either.
So it did. I thought it had been pushed over here and just flopped, didn't realise it had done so well elsewhere as well.
Blue Jeans wasn't an awful single choice per se, it was just a bit odd to release it after it was already the double A side to Video Games. I do agree Summertime Sadness would've done much better than National Anthem, although prior to the release I thought National Anthem was the obvious single so I can't particularly argue with it being released.

Just decided to take some time to listen to Ride, as it was quite ridiculous that I hadn't heard it yet, and I'm rather blown away. *.* Even by the standard I've come to expect from Lana.

Dark Paradise would have made an amazing single - as would SS had it been released here, but I'm quite happy how they've handled things (as Blue Jeans and National Anthem were wonderful anyway).
