Man City vs Man Utd looks the standout tie.

Expect that will be shown along with Arsenal vs Leeds. No other tie sticks out though, a lot of the big clubs got home draws!

Think Birmingham - Wolves will be on TV.

Then 2 of these:

Peterborough v Sunderland

Chelsea v Portsmouth

Gillingham v Stoke

Liverpool v Southend/Oldham

Everton v Tamworth

Swindon v Wigan

Fleetwood/Yeovil v Blackpool

Tottenham v Cheltenham

Nottingham Forest v Leicester

Can't complain really, though a potentially tricky tie against a team that scores shitloads.

Tempted to go down to Peterborough, on the basis that i've been down there a few times and never seen the home side win :D

There are several ties there which would be much more likely to be shown live if they were the other way round.

Chelsea v Portsmouth

Tottenham v Cheltenham

Liverpool v Southend or Oldham

Everton v Tamworth

Brighton v Wrexham

Are there five live games? If so, I'd go for

Man C v Man U (about as obvious as it gets)

Arsenal v Leeds (a chance to show Allan Clarke's diving header in the 1972 final umpteen times)

Peterborough v Sunderland (Ferguson Jr v Martin O'Neill)

Birmingham v Wolves

Chelsea v Portsmouth )Pompey would be very grateful for the money)

If the choice is delayed until after the replays, Fleetwood v Blackpool is another possibility. It would be a local derby and the Fleetwood chairman (and major benefactor) said after the game on Friday that he is a Blackpool fan. If they make the choice before the replays (and there is no real reason why they should) then I doubt they'd want to risk being left with Yeovil v Blackpool.

Away, this is good. I may head back to uni a week early if I can get tickets for us playing Wednesday, I wouldn't DARE if it was United. That would be bloody.
Hope Chelmsford can win the reply. Would love to see Bolton try and go to the Chelmsford "ground" it's hilarious!

Liverpool vs United is a great tie, I was really hoping Man Utd were going to get drawn out! I also don't see the controversy about the match today, I thought Foy did well, as soon as Kompany made the tackle I said "he's off". The angle from behind Kompany made it look like a superb tackle, the angle from behind Nani made it look horrendous, just proves how difficult a job refereeing is really.

Actually I disagree. I missed the game, but I've seen highlights of the tackle. Obviously it was a great tackle, brilliant in fact. But it looks reckless. I originally didn't think that the referee was even going to blow for a foul, let alone a red card. Rooney threw his arms up in protest, and I think that's what persuaded him. Was a hard one to call from his position though, and in such a big game.
It depends how you look at it, as I said the angle behind Kompany made it look brilliant, but the one behind Nani (which was more like how the ref would've saw it) made it look horrendous, if he'd have got Nani there would surely be no debate that it was a red card? I know tackles like Lampard vs Wolves was worse for instance but that shouldn't affect judgment. As soon as he made it I knew it was off, you just can't tackle like that any more. It perhaps wasn't particularly reckless but he went in at one hell of a pace and both feet were up (if barely off the ground) with the studs showing.

I know it looks bad, but imo this is where everything gets confusing. I'm 99.9% sure in the laws of the game it is not illegal to tackle with both feet off the ground. And it wasn't a reckless challenge. Of course it could have been a reckless challenge. I think the intensity (and the fact City were already a goal down aided his decision). The ball goes in the right direction of the tackle, and little contact is made with Nani. If he caught Nani it would have been a straight red card, but he didn't. It was a brilliantly time tackle.

If Man U get through and then get "easy" home draws in the 5th and 6th rounds I look forward to seeing all the complaints that the draw is rigged in their favour.

To be fair, they normally do :P

In hindsight I am actually not looking forward to the Liverpool-Manchester United match at all. Tensions between the club are at all an all time low, and it is sods law that some innocent fan from either club will get caught up in all of it. It's brilliant how Fergie dismissed ideas of peace talks the other day, but now he wants them. Surprise surprise. That man is the reason why tensions between the club have got so much worse over the years. Just take his comments in the media about Kompany's tackle to paraphrase he said he's done it before so he deserved it. Smashing any chance Manchester City have of an appeal.

What gets me the most is any booing of Evra will be seen as racist by the world and the media as racist. Liverpool FC is not racist. I don't think anyone has EVER had a public section banning order imposed on them at the ground on racial grounds for some time. No doubt there will be chants about murdereds, Munich etc. but the media of course will not bat an eyelid.

The media fail to realise that the Adeyemi abuse was by one fan and not all Liverpool supporters and yet they've branded us in the same way = the inevitable "Oh we're playing the racists next week" from opposition fans. Mud sticks

Look at this interview with John Barnes. Reporter "What seems to be going on there?" "Nothing that isn't going on everywhere else". One of the only people that has talked sense in this case and hasn't jumped to conclusions linking both incidents together. Before the Suarez/Evra case, there's no way it would have been highlighted to this extent. Even on ITV they mentioned "Downing has been arrested" after the FA Cup draw to try and say "Oh look their all getting out of control"

It's unfortunate timing, but the racist chants at the match vs. Oldham are not linked with the Suarez/Evra case and I don't believe that it wouldn't have happened if the club didn't support Suarez. The club aren't backing racism. Their backing someone who they believe was misinterpreted

Evra won't receive a warm reception and it's not because Liverpool fans are racist. It's because we feel that his version of the story was exaggerated and yet like you say Rooney, Liverpool fans will once again be seen as "racists" by the media

The most entertaining part of the Arsenal vs Leeds match was definitely at Half Time, when Leeds fans started chanting "Robbie Savage, what a w*n**r", "get your tits out" and "ESPN is shit" at the absurdly positioned 'studio'.
