i think its good the judges get to vote i really do think each act elimunated left at the right sort of time although i expected the risk to get further

I personally think it's better for the public to have the say, they're the ones who are gonna be buy the music, or pay to go see the tour, after all.

I don't buy this at all. Look how many times they've voted a winner and then shown complete indifference to that person's musical output after the show's oiver. The public has notoriously awful taste in so many things, they need guiding. We all bitch about manipulated this show is but to a degree it's necessary. If Misha had left after her first or second bottom 2 result we would have missed out on a couple of good to great performances and had to endure shit instead... only for that person to then get voted out anyway and make the whole thing a farce. By and large the producers of the show DO recognise quality and star potential better than the public as far as I'm concerned.

I agree. The British public simply cannot be trusted to decide on their own.

 

I mean, look at things like the Record of the Year.... for all those years won by... gulp.... Westlife...... and look at the Brits, the award chosen by the public...... the people who actually vote in these things are, on the whole, quite simple, and should never be given too much of a voice.
