December 10, 201113 yr I'm sure my mum, grandma and everyone else over forty in my family are currently swooning and clutching their hearts.Β He really is dreadful. I've always thought he's really good at what he does but I'd never want to listen to it out of choice. I hope I never hear his Xmas efforts though.
December 10, 201113 yr I'm sure my mum, grandma and everyone else over forty in my family are currently swooning and clutching their hearts.Β He really is dreadful.Β My sister just text me saying ''I told you he was amazing'' Β I just don't get it.
December 10, 201113 yr Yeah then he complimented her :heehee: Good job he did, I fear she'd have beheaded him backstage if he hadn't judging by that look
December 10, 201113 yr I really hope Little Mix has made it through. :(Β I like Amelia, but she can be very hit and miss sometimes. Then there's Marcus who's more miss than hit.....(but not that bad really)Β I'd like to see Marcus go home, but actually though I feel like Little Mix might have more of a chance going up against Marcus in the final two than Amelia. December 10, 201113 yr Little Mix & Tulisa were good which really surprised me. Didn't think Tulisa was a strong vocalist. :lol:Β Amelia & Kelly did a brilliant job. Of the three mentor performances, I'd say Amelia & Kelly was by far the best.Β Marcus therefore ends up coming off the weakest for me tonight. However, I can't help but think he's secured his place in the final 2.Β So it's between Little Mix and Amelia. For some reason I have a gut feeling Little Mix will be eliminated tonight.
December 10, 201113 yr Live her version is much better than the studio version of it. Perhaps unsurprisingly, 6 of the top 10 trends on Twitter are about the song.Β Agreed. I think it's because it sounds more produced on the record. I still say it would be much better if it was stripped back like it is at the beginning. I knew Twitter would go in to a meltdown when it was performed.
December 10, 201113 yr Good job he did, I fear she'd have beheaded him backstage if he hadn't judging by that look :lol:Β Haha! Wouldnt be surprised! Β Leona Lewis, Hurt, Johnny Cash, Nine Ich Nails all trending already :heehee: :D
December 10, 201113 yr Marcus should go, he was weakest tonight, if he does go, and Amelia stays Little Mix has won it tomorrow night for sure, if Marcus stays in, he may be in with a shot of stopping them. Edited December 10, 201113 yr by Karma
December 10, 201113 yr I have to agree with Mark/Rooney re; Leona's version of 'Hurt'. I'd checked it out on YouTube out of curiosity and it just sounded a bit underwhelming. Yet live just now, she sounded fantastic. The track suits her low vocal range rather well.Β I do feel like they've tried to recreate 'Run Part II'. Will the EP be chart qualifiable?
December 10, 201113 yr Leona was great vocally, but that song does not need to the production values. It sounds really good in the first 1/3 of the track, but it does not need the big drum beat and the guitar riff. It would be quite dreary without it. As it is the song is not exactly overproduced is it? Her vocal was one of the best she's ever given though.
December 10, 201113 yr I shouldn't be shitting it right now for Little Mix with them being favourites to win, but for some reason I am..Β Maybe because I want them to win so much.
December 10, 201113 yr I really don't think its going to be Little Mix. I am almost 100% sure we will be saying goodbye to Amelia here, despite Marcus being the weakest.

Β It definitely is over-produced. It didn't sound so bad live, but on record it is so over-produced. The NIN and Johnny Cash version is stripped back to the absolute maximum.
