What's with all the deluxe editions lately having extra tracks, I guess it's the new trend after the 'UK bonus tracks' and the 'bonus DVD' editions.

P!NK SET TO RELEASE 6TH STUDIO ALBUM, THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE, SEPTEMBER 18TH

FIRST SINGLE “BLOW ME (ONE LAST KISS)” IS AVAILABLE NOW AT ALL DIGITAL SERVICE PROVIDERS

(New York, New York) – Worldwide superstar P!nk announces her highly anticipated 6th studio album, The Truth About Love, to be released on September 18th. The album will be available as both a standard and deluxe version. The deluxe edition will be sold exclusively at Target, and will offer fans four additional studio tracks. P!nk has teamed up with producer Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foster The People & The Shins) for the very first time on this release along with long time collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, Billy Mann and Butch Walker. She has also worked with songwriter/producer Dan Wilson (Adele’s Someone Like You). The album is P!nk’s unique take on the different shades of love – the dark, the light, the happy and the sad. The first single, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” has exploded worldwide since it impacted radio last week and is available for sale at all digital service providers. The single was co-written by P!nk along with producer Greg Kurstin. Having taken time out of the limelight to start a family, the tracks infectious melody and kick-*** lyrics have let the world know that P!nk is back and at her absolute best! P!nk announced earlier this morning on NBC’s The Today Show that she will be performing at the iHeart Radio Festival on September 22nd in Las Vegas. She will also be returning to The Today Show performing on The Plaza on release day, September 18th. Since her debut in 2000, P!nk (Alecia Moore) has released 6 albums (Can’t Take Me Home, M!ssundaztood, Try This, I’m Not Dead, Funhouse, Greatest Hits So Far!!!), sold over 30 million albums, 65 million singles (nearly 20 million digital tracks), over 1 million DVD’s worldwide and has had 11 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. In addition, 15 of P!nk’s singles have reached #1 in at least 1 or more countries. She is the recipient of 3 Grammy Awards, 2 Billboard Music Awards, 5 MTV Video Music Awards, 2 MTV Europe Awards, 2 People’s Choice Awards, and many more. P!nk’s last studio album Funhouse debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and #1 in the UK, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand and Switzerland. The album produced the smash single “So What”, which marked P!nk’s 2nd #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 (after “Lady Marmalade”). Her latest album, Greatest Hits So Far… debuted in the Top 10 in over 13 countries and spawned the hit singles, “F**ckin Perfect” which reach # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and “Raise Your Glass” which marked P!nk’s 3rd #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”: http://www.pinkspage.com/us/news/wa...t-kiss%E2%80%9D Official Website: http://www.pinkspage.com/us/home Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pink Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/Pink/

Anyone else filled with pride when reading the article above? It's astonishing what P!nk has achieved 12 years now, while never losing herself or her credibility as an artist. P!nk is the real superstar because she's the real deal and not Britney, Rihanna or Katy Perry.

I can't even begin to describe how I'm feeling right now. PINK IS BACK!

I have been a fan from day one, loved every second of her career, I remember when I saw Stupid Girls performed on totp when Pink was back with I'm Not Dead and I cried at that too  I tweeted on Pink History a few weeks ago asking where will Pink be in 20 years time? I defo think she will still be around!

She is just....everything....my therapy!! Listening to her music, going to her shows, makes me forget about all the bad shit that is going on. I have to admit, by the end of the Carnival tour, I felt like we'd had 'too much' of her, we all needed the break, Pink included. Now shes back and I'm so f***ing happy (incase you couldnt tell haha)

I love all the new things, everytime I turn on my laptop...hell every time I go onto facebook/twitter on my phone...there is something new, an interview, new info on the album etc, new photos.

I am very proud to be a Pink Freak right now

Ok I'ma shut up now

If the bonus tracks are exclusive to Target in the US, I'd expect that they'll just appear on the standard edition in the UK. The title's not awful, but it's not exactly eye-catching or original.

New (I think) titles for the album

Willow plays bells on 'How Come You're Not Here,' and she plays bass on a song called 'Timebomb.'

"There was a basket of sh--, and she came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, 'Record it!' And then she went up to the bass guitar on 'Timebomb' and started plucking away. She's actually pretty good! She's better on bass than I am! She plays piano, she bangs sh--, she's either going to be violent or a percussionist ... or a violent percussionist."

Timebomb? A cover of the SMASH Kylie hit? :kink:

Pink has said there is 'no dance music' on the album, I just read an article on DS:

"Honestly, when there's something that's so popular like that, that does my head in, I know better what I don't want than what I do want," Pink told 97.1 AMP's Carson Daly.

"And when there's something like that happening, I'm like, 'Cool, not that!' I've done a whole career of, 'Okay, not that! I don't know what, but not that!'"

The star also revealed that she recorded over 40 songs for her new album The Truth About Love, but will only include 13 on the final tracklisting.

"I like to put 13 songs on my record. It's my lucky number. I had my first kiss on Friday the 13th in a graveyard," she said.

I respect her for not jumping on the "let's whack in a bit of dubstep here" bandwagon.
