I don't think it will be huge. Radio 1 seem to be blanking it (Capital are playing it though) and she's not exactly able to sell off her name alone anymore. Plus people just don't seem crazy about the song - even in the US where radio are backing it strongly she's floundering in the bottom end of the top 40 on iTunes.

US radio aren't backing it strongly though, it's climbing at quite a slow pace and stuck around 25 mil audience impressions. The biggest hits get upwards of 125m. That's why her dumb ass label need to get her out performing the song already!!!

It has a month until release here though, if Radio 1 still haven't playlisted it within a couple of weeks that's when we can panic about it.

If this does not become a hit, I will cry. This should be smashing it WW, such a brilliant song. :(
Her best single since Hurt (which is my 3rd favourite song ever), absolutely amazing. Took an age to properly click but now I'm absolutely loving it! It's SO going to do a Big Hoops though :(

It's getting negative updates now. Should have started promoting like a week ago.

Hopefully everyone who raved about this song to begin with can see how much better Christina can do than this now, I thought it would do well after having more exposure through the voice in the US but I guess it just shows what a weak song it is.

Why would the song's success (or otherwise) determine how much people like it? Most people aren't that fickle. It's still a f***ing amazing pop song, one of the best of the year.

Because she's a big enough star for people to have heard it and its gotten exposure, we're not talking about an upcoming artist or an ignored one who's amazing singles may go unnoticed. This is just a sub-par Christina single IMO, and I feel its current under performance in the US reflects that, and that's my opinion. Move on.

LET'S RANK BOYS :

01. Bar/Toilet

02. Car

03. Motel

The song is good too although the chorus is a bit repetitive.

Even Xtina approves! <3

I'm fine with your opinion, I just object to the idea that the people who like it are (a) wrong and (b) will suddenly not like because it's not a smash. But whatever.

I can't see Your Body not reaching #1 in UK, I think it'll certainly peak at #1 on iTunes anyway. It'll be more of a On The Floor to Big Hoops, but not selling as much in the long run. X Factor performance, or a Graham Norton/Chatty Man appearance at the very least, please?!

Any big competition on release week?

I laughed so hard at the last few seconds!

Pretty sure the Wanted's new one is out the same day...

I reckon she'll get a top 3 hit then, although there's not been half as much hype around I Found You, to Your Body.
