Yes thank goodness most Cowell related acts don't have the monopoly they used to. Big falls in album sales for Il Divo & Sue Boyle too.

True - surprisingly only 2 acts from The X Factor have made the YE 40 singles - there's a few more talent show related albums in the YE T40 but Simon Cowell doesn't have the big selling power he used to. 1D won't last that long but Olly still has a few more years left.

Non-#1s? They were all proper #1s! Their chart life was short though hence they duly don't appear in the year end Top 100.

Maroon 5 may eventually overtake someone like you if it manages to stick around. Interesting sales for x factor artists and shows a real decline in popularity for JLS & Susan Boyle. I'm really happy that x factor no longer has the same level of control on the charts and hope this continues to fade, although Olly Murs appears to be the exception to the rule and has done better with his second album and first two singles from it.

The total sales for Celine Dion is incorrect. I remember this album sold about 400k in 2008 when it came out.
