Okay, I know I can be completely dissed by this comment, but I truly think GA's "Waiting" from the album "Chemistry" sounds very indie/rock styled. If this song would belong to a band like The Kooks, The Ordinary Boys or Arctic Monkeys (to name examples), I think it'd be loved the same way as these bands' songs are.

But the song DOES sound indie/rock style

I cant see an indie band singing this song either.

Its wicked

I was thinking the very same. I can't see it as very indie/rock influenced, it's about as pure pop as you can get.

Exactly, it's pure pop like Girls Aloud are great at

However now Luciano has brought it up I WOULD like to hear a comedy cover by an indie band

I didn't like Chemistry that much, I thought WWTNS was WAY WAY better :(

And I can't imagine GA doing Indie Rock either

I'd love The Ordinary Boys to cover it, it'd sound amazing!

I actually agree with you...it's kinda New Wave.

If you listen to it it's more or less just a guitar, drums and vocals...with the same guitar riff repeated.

It's a good mix of alternative and pop carried off with style.

:cheer: Someone who agrees with me :cheer:

I sure do.

It's just I was replying to someone on another forum about how they can go for different styles & I used Waiting as my back up. I like how they have all these rock influences in some of their songs.

Yeah, me too. Like "Wake Me Up" having great rock guitars to name a song.
