January 10, 201213 yr Yep Hiam is already 1 year old, Britney's 4th USA no.1 hit, and first number 1 in USA with dubstep influence. Trendsetney always in the game  Being the first #1 on the Billboard with dubstep influences hardly means she's a trendsetter, it means she's following a trend which hasn't done that well commercially  I don't actually mind "Hold It Against Me", IMO it suits her more than "'Till The World Ends" which had the potential to be a tremendous pop moment but she couldn't handle the vocal.
January 10, 201213 yr This hasn't aged for me well at all. Haven't listened to it for MONTHS. The instrumental of 'Till the World Ends' still gets regular plays though.
January 10, 201213 yr Author Being the first #1 on the Billboard with dubstep influences hardly means she's a trendsetter, it means she's following a trend which hasn't done that well commercially  It was many times reported that she is first one who has set that trend in USA, I don't know any other mainstream artist who used that sound in the songs before Britney. She did first time in Freakshow (which was recorded in 2006) on Blackout. Rihanna did on Rated R and Britney again on FF and Rihanna again on TTT. In UK is definitely other story, but for USA Britney is first mainstream artist who used that sound.

She may well be the first 'mainstream' artist but it's not 1962 anymore, pop acts are aware of what's doing well underground so it was inevitable that the dubstep sound was going to catch on quickly. Just happened to be her that got the song out first, it didn't influence anyone.

January 11, 201213 yr I loved it at first (still think it's a much better lead single than 'Womanizer' or '3' by far) but I have tired of it a bit since then but I still enjoy it occasionally. Funnily enough I hated 'Till The World Ends' initially but now consider that way better than this, and 'I Wanna Go' was always better than both. Edited January 11, 201213 yr by Silver Rocket
January 11, 201213 yr Can't believe it's been a year. Best moment of 2011 for me :) Who could forget the video mix  ojSyIBgB670 Edited January 11, 201213 yr by MyDecember
January 11, 201213 yr Still not overly keen on it, I still feel a better lead single could have made this era so much more succesful.
January 11, 201213 yr A YEAR? ALREADY? I don't love this as much as I did at the time (but then again that goes for pretty much ALL songs), but it is far and away my most played song ever and it is still pretty immense in a club. It's definitely a highlight of her post-In The Zone career for me.
January 11, 201213 yr I think this should have been the second single after TTWE. Though each song is equally amazing to me, and by far the best two tracks on the album (besides 'Inside Out').
January 11, 201213 yr AND THE VIDEO IS SO UNDERRATED IT'S CRIMINAL. By far the best video she has released since 'Toxic'.
January 12, 201213 yr Yeah 'Till The World Ends' really should've led the era, given it's one of her best songs EVER. I do like this still but it pales in comparison imo.
January 13, 201213 yr i loved it so much in beggining but not that much now. However, I always rated '3' as one of the worst moments of britney but it wast played out today in mall while I was shopping and damn it sounded amazing still almost 3 years after...it made me listen in my car after.
January 13, 201213 yr I must be one of the few that prefers this to Till The World Ends! I do love TTWE, but HIAM just has that extra something for me. I don't like the fact TTWE sounds like Ke$ha.

January 13, 201213 yr I don't think "Till The World Ends" was even finished by the time this was released, but I agree they should've swapped places as single choices.
January 15, 201213 yr I loved this, then quickly got bored of it, and now listening to it again after months, I really like it again. Till The World Ends is her best single from the FF era though, that was amazing and I never got bored of it. Britney had a bit of a radio comeback here in Portugal, even if sales were nothing special, it was great to see radio support her again. I actually think HIAM was the one I least heard on the radio, Till The World Ends was played loads, Criminal and I Wanna Go got some play too.
