Posted January 25, 201213 yr Just watching the National Television Awards and Gary has been awarded the outstanding contribution award. Didnt even hear any rumours of this happening at all so a huge well done to him.

Regardless of whether you like him or not, he has done fantastic things for charity and for music and deserves the credit! :yahoo: He obviously got the TV award cos of the 2 CIN Rocks he has put on TV, his successful first series as a judge (according to polls people enjoyed him the most out of all the judges!) and also the mountain climbing etc with reports saying he is planning it again this year but somewhere in the north pole with a group of celebs

January 31, 201213 yr Smash Hits, that brings back and also holds alot of memories, i do remember back in the day when mark used to win all the hotty!!awards nowadays its Gary who appears to get them. This is ironic in a sense as back in the day Gary was always refered to as the fat ugly one.

February 1, 201213 yr I think him joining twitter has done a lot for his appeal over the past few months. He's quite funny and pokes fun at himself which I think big parts of the public didn't realise. Never thought I'd see the day when Gary was seen as cooler than the likes of the lovely Robbie and getting on list that have George Clooney and David Beckham. Hope he doesn't mess it up.
