October 26, 201311 yr I don't like 'Y.A.L.A' much at all :( It's better than 'Bring the Noize' at least but it's no 'Come Walk With Me' and that was hardly an M.I.A classic to begin with. Not sure how much excitement I have left for this album.
November 1, 201311 yr It's here *.* TWO songs featuring The Weeknd! *.* x2 (Just using parts from Lonely Star :( )
November 16, 201311 yr This is actually a pretty good album, I love Bring The Noize, (S)Exodus, Bad Girls, Come Walk With Me, Boom Skit and aTENTion especially. Not sure if I prefer it to Maya which I actually did like a lot, and of course it's got nothing on Arular or Kala but I'm enjoying it a fair amount for now.
November 16, 201311 yr It's definitely her back on form! All the songs you mentioned are amazing Liam, I just struggle to listen to it all in one go for some reason :( colour me happpppily surprised.
November 27, 201311 yr I've not listened to this because nothing after 'Bad Girls' being as good as I generally expect from her kinda killed my buzz but I just stumbled across 'Sexodus' and it is just perfect, gonna give the rest of the album a spin tonight
November 27, 201311 yr '(S)exodus' is the clear highlight for me. My blood type is nO negative <3 That and the hook in 'Warriors'.
December 6, 201311 yr Double Bubble Trouble is just a JAM. can't get enough, this album is really not gettin the acclaim it deserves :(
December 7, 201311 yr Author i think the problem is that the persona has become bigger than the music and this totally detracts from her talents as a musician also she has no polish or focus to what she's putting out now. 'bad girls' was an anomalous moment harking back to the 'arular' and 'kala' days. (those two records remain all time favs)
