Initially released as a free download for a week to promote the Live Earth concerts. It was the first official release that Pharrell Williams worked with Madonna on. Due to the fact it had been free to download the song reached some lower parts of various charts with it's best outing in the Czech chart at #8. Madonna performed Hey You live at wembley stadium for the live earth london show with a school choir, the live version was released in December 2007.
