Network Rail bosses have chosen not to take their six-figure bonuses for last year. In a sign that they understand how to try and achieve some positive press they have chosen to donate the money towards rail safety improvements.

As you say, it's all about getting positive press. Although I guess it's good for them to donate the funds to safety improvements, they have a right to the bonuses, at least more than the bankers do.

Again, the rail bosses... It would be a bit of a nerve if they did take a bonus, the rail companies hardly provide a great service or value for money... But, in saying this, they're still not as shameless as the bankers.... Rail bosses dont tend to defraud their customers... -_-
