I remember loving We're From Barcelona just like it was yesterday, my long trawl through Nottingham and Lincoln to find a copy of their album is one of my clearer memories.

 

Anyway, it's been ages since then and I still love listening to them and I've just begun to appreciate the joys of last year's album (I expect to be alone on this one), fuelled primarily by the Red Idiot remix of new single Battleships which I really want to share with you all but can't find a link anywhere. Bad times.

 

Turns out they've remixed one of the earlier singles too, WHOLE RED IDIOT REMIX ALBUM PLEASE.

'We're From Barcelona', 'Oversleeping' and 'Always Spring' is a superb trio of singles, I quite like their new one too, although I've always wondered whether I'd like a whole album of them so never really bothered.

It doesn't make much sense to be fair. The whole point was to have a thread about the Red Idiot Mix of Battleships (the new single from I'm From Barcelona) but I was thwarted by not being able to find a solitary link to it... so you were left with just my garbled intro. :D

Forever Today is a surprisingly decent album - but you DO have to be in the right mood for it though.

Treehouse never fails to put a smile on my face, love their debut album! Would you say the second one's worth getting?

The second one isn't particularly great as it's all a bit prog-rock in places (yes, really!) - the third one is very poppy and I'm quite the fan at the moment, if you liked the first you should also like the third one.
