I ordered mine from HMV On-Line but because this is based in Guernsey it apparently doesn't count towards the Uk chart.

So I downloaded a couple of copies tonight. ^_^

I got quite excited when Robbie mentioned rudebox being number one in the charts, I really thought it was the uk charts for a minute, and then he said Germany

Good to see its number one there though, maybe next week he will be number one here

Its number 13 in the ARIA chart and number 2 in the dance chart :cheer: . I am quite happy with that.
He is very very very popular in Germany, isn't he? Nearly as popular as David Hasselhoff in fact.

Yes. he is huge in Germany. IC sold more their than in the UK i think

re-Rudbeox - If he is'nt top 3 tomorrow i will be pretty shocked tbh. I mean he played to 100,000 on friday night and Satuday is the busiest day for shopping etc so surely a least 1000 fans bought a copy of Rudebox.

Tonights gig won't have any effect on tomorrow's chart though

-_-

I do wonder. I went to see him with 4 close friends. None of them even bought Intensive Care. :o And I think they only have a couple of his albums between them. But they love going to see him in concert. And they wouldn't dream of buying a CD Single. :arrr:

No. 1 in Germany, Rob has said so? Well, I guess he meant the download charts.

The new sales charts won't be out until Wednesday. But maybe he's no. 1 in the trend charts.

That would be nice. Trippin was a no. 1 hit in Germany too, for two weeks even.

no. 4 it is then which is totally fine by me. But then again I'm not a bl**dy journalist -_-
Oh well. Rudebox has got to the same place in the Chart as Feel and Angels. :P

we all know is not the same situation: Feel was released after an album that was selling a lot, an Angel was the beginning of his legend...Rudebox is the new single, before an album, of an established great star. Number 4 is not that good

It sold 24,821 copies in the UK last week. <_<

He would've got to #1 in a different week with those sales -_-

It still ain't great sales figures though. But as I keep saying, his fan base is getting older. Older people don't tend to buy singles. <_<

Sorry, but that's just not correct. Feel was the FIRST single from the Escapology album, which then sold a lot. Not the other way round. And he already was "established as a great star" back then. -_-

We all know it could be better than no. 4 obviously and people might say for an artist like Rob that's not a good chart entry, but considering that he released something so different from his usual stuff and the negative press no. 4 is actually really good.

Feel was actually released in the UK a couple of weeks after Escapology was released ( for some mad reason  ). They said at the time that Feel was denied a Number 1 because most people had bought the album by then.

But whatever, No 4 is not spectacular but I'm actually just glad it made the Top 10. ( Victoria Newtface really scuppered it I think).

Yeah Feel would most definatly have been #1 had it not been for it being released after Escapology. I think they wanted it to be Xmas #1 so they released it nearly a month after the album. REALL REALLY stupid idea -_-

#4 is good for a song so odd but i am quite dissapointed in those 100,000 who saw him and not even an extra 1k bought it
