Dyslexia doesn't mean it needs to be spelt differently :P

As someone who is dyslexic I find it easier especially if I'm reading something unfamiliar for it to be written phonetically rather than how it's actually spelt.

Definitely! Although technically spoken the same, there are minor differences such as the emphasis on "'re" in "they're" compared to "there" or "their" which is noticed in singing especially.

I hope you peasants voted for Queen Mollie at that Dyslexia Award thingy, though.

(kidding!)

generic? hmm never heard a song like All Fired Up or Notorious.. But that might just be me. That is what is selling their singles atm so I think they should stick for the time being

Can we please title this fourth album and stop pretending Headlines was a studio album. It was a compilation and you know.

No we can't because it wasn't.

If anything it was an EP, but it still spawned two singles.

Plus, depending on which edition you have, it has 4/7 unreleased tracks.. that's not a compilation.

It was significant enough to earn 'album' status.

Yes but a studio album is allegedly all new songs other than bonus tracks. It serves the same purpose as Hilary Duff's Most Wanted album. A handful of new songs, sprinkled with previous singles, and previous album tracks. Not a "studio album"

Well Puppet, Died In Your Eyes & Karma weren't bonus tracks.. they were tracks recorded specifically for 'Headlines'

Plus, the title of this thread is 'fifth album' not 'fifth studio album'. I'd allow it either way though to be honest..

You've taken the opposite of what I've said. I meant Forever Is Over, Ego, One Shot, not the new songs. Hummmm

No, I understood what you said. You said a studio album is allegedly all new songs other than bonus tracks.

Well on Headlines; Missing You, Higher, Puppet, Died In Your Eyes & Karma were new songs.

Then it had 2 previous singles & 1 previous album track. The majority was new material so would suffice as a standalone release.

The funny thing is... When they said On Your Radar was their 3rd album (they mostly said it was the 4th, but I remember some confusion about it all), I'm dead certain it wasn't because Headlines! wasn't considered as a studio album or whatever. No, it was because they probably thought they were still supposed to act like Wordshaker never happened.

It doesn't matter, anyway. They always changed their minds in the past. Saying they had 4 albums out is always good. It makes them look like they have been successful. But to ignore a flop when it just happened (just like with Wordshaker), it also makes them look like they didn't flop afterall.

I think Scherz got a point. At the end of the day, Headlines! was an "album" as far as the definition of an album goes. Maybe not a "studio album" (let's not debate on this, it's so 2010), but it was an "album". So the title is right, in my opinion.

This reminds me of the "Is Pluto a planet?" debate, I say yes because even though its classed as a dwarf planet it still has the word PLANET in it :P
It obviously isn't officially confirmed, but this is most likely going to be out on October 13th! ^_^
I'm going to cry if Not Giving Up On Love is not on this album. I need it in my life now, not in 2 months time!
