People consider Snow Patrol N.Irish mainly i think cos Lightbody has an N.Irish accent.

 

I tend to look at things on an island wide basis and its great to see bands and artists like Snow Patrol, U2, The Dubliners, Christy Moore, Bob Geldof and the Riverdance :D coming from these shores!

 

I don't understand this post. People consider Snow Patrol to be Northern Irish, because it's constituent members are from Northern Ireland. It's not rocket science.

6 of the 8 people who have played in Snow Patrol (including lead singer songwriter Gary) were born and raised in Belfast, Derry or Bangor.

I was saying that because Lightbody would be the perrson most people would associate with Snow Patrol and they would have heard him speak more than the other members!
