Thank GOD Joan ended up being the winner despite the pretty large disadvantage. At least this was the best of what was left.

It's a nice entry, probably in my top 10 of those selected so far! It would be nice to see The Netherlands back in the final again with this!

Joan has a nice voice and I started to like the song actually.

I think it's something that you need to hear a few times before it catches on but then gets stuck in your head until it annoys the f*** out of you.

Loved Joan during The voice of Holland. Not 100% sure if I like this one or it'll win..

 

I am greatful that Ivan failed. Joan was the best. It seems The Netherlands will be in final this year, don't you think?

Are the studio versions available yet? You & Me sounds quite nice on first listen, might she steal votes from Soluna Samay in the battle of folky-pop singers with bizarre headwear? :lol:

I have to hand it to the Netherlands, they truly are the troopers of Eurovision.

 

Not a single qualification since 2004 and still they march on. The majority of eurovision countries would have stormed off bawling their eyes out by now.

 

Hope "You and Me" does well for them. I like it quite a bit, it could bring them to the final this time. Here's hoping. Semi Two looks like it could be a bloodbath though. :(

Absolutely love this now, easily in my top 5 but qualification still looks uncertain.

Everytime I hear this song or it pops into my head, the verses just sort of mesh into those of Sandi Thom's I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker, she's quite a Sandi-esque figure too to be honest :lol: Definitely the sort of song I could have seen her doing.
