I don't think he'll ever make something as good as Black & Gold but I do like this. I have a feeling he writes alot of songs about ''seizing the day'' though, not sure why 'cause looking back on his first album there wasn't much of that on it.

I don't like The Shallow End very much.

Getting a 90s vibe from it, it's okay, but it doesn't really go anywhere. He needs a better song if he wants another smash like Black & Gold.

Then again maybe i'm wrong and it will go Top 10.

That must be why I ADORE the new sound/look then. Especially the moustache :kink:
Love it! Having said that, his style is a bit similar to Hurts.

Sparro's voice is 100 times better than the singer from Hurts (or perhaps it's just the production that makes it seem so)

Really, I thought the two voices are quite different that it's pretty incomparable.

The Magician Remix of Happiness is becomming a huge hit in Belgium. Peaking at #2 now. I must say it is indeed very good.

Very glad he is at least having a hit somewhere! That remix of 'Happiness' is actually rather brilliant anyway. Here it is for anyone who hasn't heard it:

I can't find a download link but I have found this link to online streaming of every track.

If anyone does find a download link, please send it over this way? I LOVE this album, especially 'Hearts Like Us' and 'We Could Fly' which are definite highlights for me.

Praise the lord for the search function on here.

His voice is just something I could listen to forever and ever. Sam is very easily my favorite male vocalist to pop around in the past 5 years. The new album is pretty good, I'd say on a consistency level it's better than the self titled album actually to be entirely honest. I think the record company got it wrong (or Sam, whoever) by pushing back the release date and also him just kind of doing features, some writing for others, and buzz singles for like 4 years? I think "Shades of Grey" is awful, but outside of that I love all the tracks from the new album. It obvious throwback sounds of 80 percent of the album makes me happy too. I just love how he totally channels Larry Levan kind of vibes with the arrangement of some of these tracks.
