Looks epic. Television event of the year. Going to give HBO some absolutely huge ratings.

It looks seriously epic. I am so excited for it. I've noticed a lack of Jamie Lannister in the promo stills and trailers though - hope they don't kill him off!

 

God, it looks so good.

 

Even though I've read Clash of Kings I can't wait to see it realised. It's interesting to see they've brought the Jeyne Westerling story forward from the third book and I've also heard that Danaerys part is beefed up compared to the book.

I'm starting to look a bit forward to the new season.

One week. Not sure I can actually wait that long.

You're lucky you've just finished S1 now, some of us have had almost A YEAR to wait.

Cannot wait for this. The first Season was fantastic!

Just caught the first episode, looking good. Joffrey is probably the most annoying unlikeable character I've yet seen in a tv-show, in a good way. Reviews have promised a really great season, so guess we'll just have to sit back and enjoy the ride, even if a week does seem like ages once you've seen an episode.

It was excellent. Peter Dinklage will easily get a nomination for Lead Actor in the Emmys this year. He steals every scene he's in. I'd forgotten how brilliant this show is. Can't wait till next week already. The last few minutes were haunting.

It was a great start! Catelyn stole it for me. Melisandre seems like a character, Stannis rather less so at this stage. I just hope my favourites don't end up with reduced screentime now the cast is so big.

I thought they handled the huge cast really well this episode, it was definitely well balanced. Hope it stays that way for the rest of the season, although I imagine more screen time will be given to the war between the Kings opposed to past the wall, dragons etc.

Excellent Season opener, seemed alot more action packed than the pilot episode. The new characters seem intriguing. I agree that the last 5 minutes were haunting. It's going to be a killer waiting every week to see a new episode. Adore this show.

Really liked it, think some will complain over the broken narrative structure, but it really has to happen with so many characters. Awesome ending too.

Again, perfectly balanced scripting, excellent attention to detail, faultless direction and acting... Everything a good series or film should be.. Second series is shaping up to be a corker now that we've gone "Beyond The Wall".... Lots of stuff going on though, so it requires patience and attention.

I'm a week behind, just watched episode 1 but I just want to echo what others have said in that it was very good (obviously) and a nice step up from S1. It did seem to dart around A LOT, but there's an awful lot to fit in so I guess that's to be expected. Loving Melisandre already (the scene on the beach made me SMILE as that's what was filmed just down the road from me). The bit at the end with the killings was all a little :( and Joffrey is a even more of a c**t now, if such a thing were even possible, I love it.

Unsurprisingly been renenwed for a 3rd season :D

Caught the first episode last night, almost missed it...brilliant start so far, it's sure to be better than the first season as Grimly said now that they've gone beyond the wall
