You know I suspect she may well be better than Maggie, as fabulous as she would undoubtedly have been.

I finally caught up with season 2. God knows why I waited so long. I could spend hours just raving every brilliant character (and they all are). Arya probably had the best journey in this season. Her relationship with Tywin Lannister was just beautifully written. Very talented actress she is. I would agree that Daenerys' story felt a bit disjointed at times, but the scenes in the House of the Undying were simply brilliant. Khaleesi + dragons = magical combination. The writing for the relationships is so strong. I'm rooting for Tyrion and Shae.

 

The supporting cast are just as strong too. Varys is fabulously sly. Jaqen the faceless assassin came from nowhere as one of my favourites. (I guess we've seen the last of the original actor now though?) Ygritte is a savage so and so but I love her. Got a right soft spot for Ser Jorah too.

 

I think I might just wander the streets shouting "I AM KHALEESI!" until March 31.
