March 4, 201214 yr Well done to Band of Skulls getting a second week in the top 40, no mean feat. Especially given You Me At Six dropped out from no.5  And of course :cheer: for The Black Keys repeaking! If "Gold On The Ceiling" does the unlikely and becomes a bigger hit than "Lonely Boy" could it push it top 10?
March 4, 201214 yr Bit of a blip on MW, got albums, but nothing else, please use the link for the OCC site for the time being.

March 4, 201214 yr I'm pleased Dappy held on to number 2, it's going to be one almighty drop next week!
March 4, 201214 yr Not so well done to the Ting Tings then.. I always thought they'd be a one album wonder.
March 4, 201214 yr I'm pleased Dappy held on to number 2, it's going to be one almighty drop next week! I'm really pissed that Emeli couldn't hold on! I was looking forward to a really long #2 run but now with Nicki ahead of her currently Next To Me will be more like 2-2-3-3 which is still impressive (especially given how much it was being hammered on radio like a month in advance of release) but not as cool as 2-2-2-2. Anyway, YAY for Azealia getting back in that top 75! M.I.A didn't fall too hard this week although I still wish it would be doing better. Nothing overly exciting happening otherwise except for Talk That Talk re-entering the top 75.
March 5, 201214 yr Nothing overly exciting happening otherwise except for Talk That Talk re-entering the top 75. Yea, that's very overly exciting. :P Very impressed by Meat Loaf: his studio albums since 1993 have reached #1, #3, #4, #3, #4 and #5. That's amazing consistency. Edited March 5, 201214 yr by SKOB
March 5, 201214 yr I'm so behind on chart stuff, I haven't heard lots of the new entries! How come Demi Lovato has only just entered with "Skyscraper"? Has it just been released here? Seems like it's been around for ages. I'm also surprised that Chiddy Bang is still a thing. Pleased to see Azealia Banks re-enter.

God knows why she left it so long. It was never going to be a hit.
March 5, 201214 yr Yes, Skyscraper has only just been released here. God knows why she left it so long. It was never going to be a hit. How weird, it's been around for about eight months! I thought it was just a major flop that didn't chart, kind of surprised she's still relevant but I guess Disney Channel stars always have some sort of minor following.
March 7, 201214 yr Author Top 100 singles updated, will try to do the albums tomorrow. Sorry for the lateness of updating again etc. I'm going to go ahead and blame that on having a shit ton of mocks this week (well, 6 of them :kink:) Edited March 7, 201214 yr by Engelbré
March 8, 201214 yr Yes, Skyscraper has only just been released here. God knows why she left it so long. It was never going to be a hit. Surely #32 counts as one? This week's surprise re-entry : #198 Shakira's 'Waka Waka', nearly 2 years after the World Cup Finals. :) By my reckoning, it is very close to 250k now. March 8, 201214 yr Surely #32 counts as one? This week's surprise re-entry : #198 Shakira's 'Waka Waka', nearly 2 years after the World Cup Finals. :) Don't suppose you have rough TD sales for Waka Waka, VC? I remember it passing 200k last year (about May, maybe?). Just curious as it's one of those big sellers which kind of flopped in the weekly rankings! It's weird to think, though, how many others now fall into this category too. When I began watching the charts in about 1994, it was pretty much historic if a non-T20 hit sold over 100k never mind 200k, 250k or even 300k!
March 9, 201214 yr Don't suppose you have rough TD sales for Waka Waka, VC? Err... that would be the line you snipped when replying.
