01 - The song with the most weeks at the top of my chart is Je Ne Sais Quoi with 12 weeks, but the longest run at the top is 8 weeks by Ishtar with O Julissi. Only 3 more weeks and Loreen will have equalled that record :o

04 - It was such a huge shame! :( . I doubt we'll be getting an album anytime soon now either. I think it's my second favourite of theirs also, even if it is their lowest charting single on my chart to date.

12 - Definitely! Heat 4 was so strong though, it was always going to be difficult for Charlotte to progress further :(

25 - It should climb higher. It needs a little bit of a revamp to make the backing vocals a lot stronger, but I'm liking it a lot nevertheless! I hope they keep it in Slovenian for Eurovision.

44 - I quite like this song, but his other singles haven't done much for me.

58 - I prefer Angel too, but the sand art did help me take notice of the song. Without that, I would have dismissed the track as quite the non-event.

 

I'm sad that Magical Sensation failed too, I was hoping I'd be able to ride on the back of the Stormande Hav hype, but alas it didn't pay off. Maybe next time Caerfyrddia will be back in the final! Roll on XLIII! :D

4. Shame indeed, I'm dying for another album, especially if Stormande Hav is anything to go by, it seems more folky than their previous efforts somehow, which I love!

01 - Yes indeed, especially now it's been chosen as the Swedish entry! I like WAMD and MHIRM almost equally, but Kati just has that slight edge what with it being the only song in the 2011 contest that had that classic Eurovision sound!

04 - I agree! It's probably helped by the fact Sarek wrote it, but an album would be most welcome. I'm not sure we'll get it this year though :(

12 - She should have! I'm sure Kate would have gone along with it as she hasn't exactly got much to lose and could have gained a lot. It would have got her current project back on track after a surprisingly shaky start!

04 (05) Timoteij ~ Stormande Hav ~ 4 [8-4-5-4] Good to see this sticking it around, it really lived up to their previous singles in the end! Shame it came so close to the final, though I suppose it would've flopped like...

10 (**) Frida Hyvönen ~ Terribly Dark ~ 1 [10] This is truly superb, such brilliant '80s-style production and an irresistible chorus.

25 (**) Eva Boto ~ Verjamem ~ 1 [25] One of the best entries this year, I had to download an mp3 immediately!

32 (51) Gabrielle ~ Høster/Inn I Deg ~ 4 [38-44-51-32] Glad to see them back on the rise - what did you think of the album?

46 (**) Jessica Lowndes ~ Nothing Like This ~ 1 [46] Thought this was a bit generic at first but it's sticking remarkably well with me, there's a nice aspect of desperation to the vocals

47 (**) Rachel Sermanni ~ The Fog ~ 1 [47] Supreme example of this type of sound, really nice build to the chorus

55 (**) Laleh ~ Some Die Young ~ 1 [55] The more I listen to this, the more it seems like it should be the runaway favourite... so accessible, the orchestral opening is absolutely lush :wub:

01 - I was really tense too! So happy she won, this now looks set to absolutely smash my previous records for most weeks at #1 and most continuous weeks at the top!

04 - I was gutted they didn't reach the final. It looks like the album will be pushed back as a result now too! Out of interest, did you listen to my BJSC entry and what did you make of it if you did?

05 - I know :drama: , such a complete injustice! I didn't expect it to come last in the televoting either!

10 - It is really quite magnificent!

25 - Same! I hope they give it a bit of a polish before Eurovision though, the backing vocals need to be a lot stronger!

32 - I'm waiting for it to arrive! It was shipped earlier in the week, so should hopefully be here soon! Høster's going back up as a result of BJSC!

46 - It's one of a few highlights in this edition of BJSC, I'm quite surprised it clicked with me actually as I don't usually go for songs like this!

47 - It's a sublime track! Hope it does well in the final!

55 - I'm finding it a little over-hyped, but I can see it winning as a result of suggestion more than anything. With nearly everyone predicting it to win, I think people will gravitate towards this song even if they don't like think too highly of it!

1. Quite, it's going to take something special between now and June to topple it from your #1 (and mine at this rate :o). Both were #14 SMASHES in my chart, I wish I'd got into them in the way that you had but I guess you can't force these things if they don't happen naturally :drama:

4. Probably not now :(

12. Exactly, it could have been a Maria Haukaas/Anna Sahlene style Euroloon dream duet, but with a better result obviously! And yeah, Broken was a #2 in my chart and Little Braveheart is sure to be a second top ten for Kate for me from this era but it hasn't exactly been smashing round Europe, or even at home in Belgium!
