Posted March 8, 201213 yr Mystery Jets have always maintained a level on consistency for me; managed to keep their music quality and not fall into the trap of complacency that many bands do. Anyway, this is their new single: vPBJPCaeda0
March 8, 201213 yr They've never really had the success to allow the to rest on their laurels. Fair play if they're keeping consistent though.
March 10, 201213 yr The Mystery Jets are a band that have never had a massive signature album but have been consistently good over the years with some of their older singles now becoming cult classics like Hounds of Love. There last led single The beginning of the twist was awesome and deserved a much higher peak in the charts than the no30 it got but i suppose rock wasnt popular in 20010 when it came out. Then the follow ups never get much support! This sounds alot different in a good way!

Mystery Jets have one indie disco staple in "Two Doors Down" but never really broke out otherwise, which as others said could be a blessed in disguise in this day and age.
March 10, 201213 yr Twenty One was a rather fantastic album back in the day, I think if there was ever going to be a moment for them to break into the big time, that was it.

"Young Love" with Laura Marling deserved to do a lot better than #34 - can't believe that was 4 years ago already. Anyway, I look forward to hearing the new album!
