Yesterday, the timetable of rehearsals for this years Eurovision Song Contest was released! When rehearsals begin in less than a month, what we have all been waiting for will have started! :D

And once the rehearsals begin, this can be the place to discuss whose performances are going to increase the chances of challenging Loreen :kink: , and which big favourite is going to fall at the semi final stage! (Stella :kink:)

13th May... that's less than a month... almost 3 weeks! Can't wait!!!!!!!
As usual, I shan't be involved in witnessing this. Way more fun not knowing what's going to happen on stage.
This somehow reminded me of that Inför Eurovision have started! :o :D

Just over 17 hours to go until Rambo hits the stage for the first rehearsal! :cheer:

It seems like ESC Xtra will be doing live streaming all day again! :D

Iceland's rehearsal was fantastic, Montenegro's not quite so good. Greece is rehearsing now, they are behind schedule at the moment.

Thanks for posting it! I would have posted it, but I didn't have the link up at the time and I thought it would be easy enough just to google it :D

I will do, but I don't think she's on till the end of the week! :D

From what I've seen so far:

Montenegro - Dull, definite contender for 0 points.

Iceland - Nowhere near as dramatic as I hoped it would be, the jury should hopefully save it from being completely forgotten about!

Greece - The first burst of energy, but then it also felt really quite flat too - getting serious Armenia 2011 vibes from it and I think it'll more than likely be the "shock" non-qualifier.

Latvia - Lovely enough, but I can't see it connecting with many viewers. The performance becomes a little dull during the second verse.

Albania - Captivating and dramatic, I think it'll stand out enough to draw in a number of votes and the jury will probably back it too.

Romania - What is going on with the staging?! At least the girl can sing surprisingly well, it will ease through to the final without a doubt.

Iceland, Greece and Romania are certs. Eleftheria's vocal was nowhere near as bad as some are making out and it really stands out against what came before it - I don't see there being any way it won't qualify unless the juries take it upon themselves to slaughter it. It's also a shame they took a lot of the energy out of Romania's staging compared to the national final but it's got more than enough to it to get through with ease.

Loving that Latvia performance! Anmary was always on a hiding to nothing, and I'm still working on the assumption that she won't qualify, but it would make my year if she managed to...

San Marino doesn't like it will be the hot mess performance I was hoping for :(

Switzerland - I really lost interest halfway through their rehearsal, if any alternative song is going to make it out of this semi, it'll be Hungary.

Belgium - Nice enough, but it's going to get lost in the mix. Not much happening to make it very memorable.

Finland - One of the better ballads this year, could just about scrape through to the final. The performance is certainly majestic enough!

Israel - I so hope this qualifies, but I fear it's just going to be too "out there" for casual viewers, the staging looks nice and authentic though!

San Marino - A LOT better than I imagined it would be, it'll probably get quite a lot of televotes now but the jury will no doubt sink them.

Cyprus - So weak. Increasingly likely now that this will be the fan favourite that dies on it's arse.

Denmark - Horrified that they kept the costumes from DMGP, but there's no doubt this is qualifying. I'd say this is the winner of this semi now.

Russia - Amazing, it should top the televote but the juries may knock it back to third of fourth here.

Hungary - It's going to be difficult for them following Russia, they could be forgotten about/missed by everyone discussing what they've just witnessed  . It looks like it's going to be a strong performance, if a bit lacklustre in terms of staging.

Austria - Diabolical. It'll probably in the bottom three of this semi by the end of the night.

Loved Cyprus' rehearsal! I think it came across a lot better on the ESC Xtra video that the Eurovision.tv video as you could see more of the lighting! Great choreography and the vocals are perfectly fine! :cheer:

Other standouts so far would be Albania, Iceland, Denmark and Romania! :D
