Brilliant season to end the show - I'll miss it greatly though.

That epilogue was great to watch, Selena finally earning her presidency only to realise she's lost absolutely everything to get there. And closing off on the Tom Hanks gag that started way back in the first episode. The acting this season was once again top notch, my only complaint was that sometimes it felt a tad fast paced although having an extra long final episode made up for that. Gary was royallypresidentially screwed over by her and hearing that she never once visited him when he was in prison was heartbreaking. He was always gonna get a raw deal but that was horrific. Tony Hale cursed with having all his TV characters locked up in the end

I really need to watch this, I was about 10 years late to The Thick of It as well and that's certainly one of the pinnacles of political satire
