HELLO. With the semi-finals of this year's contest just two weeks away, it's probably about time for us to start reviewing! So, without further ado, we have the two semi-finals below. Ten qualifiers from eighteen participants in each semi - it's down to you.

This is what I've been trying to tell everybody for AGES!

 

Yes I know semi 2 has Euphoria, but with Never Forget, Zaleilah, Nar Jag Blundar, Beautiful Song and Greece/Cyprus in semi 1, there's not much competition. Plus Semi 1 has the GOOD novelty tracks.

I'm assuming there's punishments for giving Sweden anything LESS than 12 points!

My top favourites are split fairly evenly between the semis, but after that a lot of my "good" entries fall into Semi Final 1 whilst Semi Final 2 becomes rubbish pretty quickly.

Semi 1 is better overall indeed, but to be honest I still only care about my top 7 there, and really only my top 4 in Semi 2...it's all about 'the Big 5' (the effort is appreciated) and Scandinavia this year :wub:

*with Montenegro here perhaps it's more likely going to be a PENULTIMATE place

Ooh, looking forward to this!! Hopefully Cyprus will have no trouble qualifying as Ivi seems to have a few fans on here! Also, do let me know if you need me to help out with doing the final or anything like last year as I very much enjoyed doing it! :D

I think that the quality have been really equal through both semis, the drawing is really good except that there is too many balkan countries in SF2

Voted, agreed that Semi 1 is MUCH MUCH MUCH stronger, of course Euphoria slays everything else combined, but on the whole semi 1 has pretty much all the other main highlights!
