QPR will stay up because of the money they have. Gutted for Bolton, didn't deserve to go down really, missing two of their best players all season.

The money they have certainly did well for them this season...

Really the biggest great escape this year is once again Wigan. How are they so bad for so much of the season and still survive is beyond me!

Because at the end of the season they are FANTASTIC. To think they lost 9 in a row earlier...

15. Wigan

16. Aston Villa

They've had to throw money on whatever they could though this season, it was a terrible terrible squad they came up with. They only got money about a week before the transfer window closed and Warnock just signed whatever shit he could get his hands on, Hughes did too., January isn't a great time to buy. A proper summer of planning they'll be fine, big player turnover in their squad this summer.

I think January is a good time to buy. Some of the best signings this season have been made in January! (and in previous seasons also!)
It can be, but it's very hard to get it right, though this season has been better then most, Cisse, Jelavic, Beausajeur, Pienaar, Sigurdsson.... But most teams don't want to sell their best players, and if you have money to spend prices go through the roof.

What a fantastic end to the season, best since 1989.

Well done to Man City.

Glad to see City and QPR fans celebrating with winning and from going down.

I hate my life.

The best team over the season has won the league, but this is our worst team in possibly twenty years and we've still levelled them on goal difference... we will be back. Also getting some satisfaction that all teams are revelling in our failure rather than City's success, shows who the top dog actually is. City can win the title sixteen more times, the FA cup six more times and the European Cup three times and MAYBE we'll talk.

We'll be back next year. Still doesn't detract from the horrendous pain I'm feeling right now though.

I guess you gonna need a stiff pint of something.

Who would you get for Man United?

Also what will QPR do about Barton what a stupid thing to do. How is he still playing in the Premier League?

Dunno, I don't really want to rub salt in to wounds because I know what it's like to lose when you're so close. But if anything Man City are only going to get stronger. Man Utd still have a massive problem in central midfield, and not a lot of money.

That was insane, nothing in life beats football, love it. Just seeing all the City fans going mental! Quality.

We need a fair bit really, Scholes and Giggs have only got one more year maximum, so we NEED to replace Scholes shorter term; Tom Cleverley is a great prospect but we need someone who can is ready to control the midfield now, I'm talking Sneijder or Modric level. We also need some solid defence because let's face it Rio is past it, Evans, Smalling & Rafael are nowhere near good enough and we can't rely on Evra solely for the left position.

unfortunatley, since Mancini seems to love to take players we're about to sign from under our noses and the ridiculous money from Abu Dhabi we're not going to be bossing the transfer market anymore.

Darren Fletcher was missed tbh.

Well when Chelsea won it they were saying the same thing and we still managed to crawl our way back from that! As long as Fergie is there then I have faith we can.

It seems Fergie is looking at buying younger players rather than big names though.

Think it is different this time. Man City will pay over-board on wages, whereas Chelsea were more conservative with them. 07-09 you had a great team. Now it's another story.

If I see one more person mention the Man Utd (169m) vs City (161) cost of starting lineups again I might shoot myself. A) It's entirely inaccurate and didn't actually use the Man City starting lineup B) Man Utd's has been over a much longer sustained period of time C) They've made a profit in recent years because of Ronaldo's sale.

THIS. Doing my head in.

Only thing that will hamper Man City in the future is the Financial Fair Play rules. But they'll probably find some way around it! Still can't get over what happened today, absolutely mental. I wasn't born when the Liverpool-Arsenal game in 1989 happened but I've seen the history and highlights behind it. Reckon today tops it though, just for the sheer hatred between the Manchester Clubs, although Man City won by a lot better goal difference than Arsenal did in 89!

So glad to see a new team as champions. Fergie will blame either the referee, the linesman or man city cheating as according to nhim he never does anything wrong.

Why did joey barton have to get so wound up. on twitter he says that he lashed out at aguero because a member of his team told him to take one of man citys team with him. It's people like him and balotelli that brand footballers a bad name.
