May 14, 201213 yr It is a shame to see him descending to the same level as the United fans. Um whut? The same United who have been praised in the last twenty four hours for handling the defeat with pure graciousness and dignity?
May 14, 201213 yr It was because Fergie said Man City wouldn't win the league in his lifetime... I know that, it still doesn't make it any less disrespectful. The man ias probably one of the best footballers in the country, but continues to show he has no class whatsoever. City are welcome to him.
May 14, 201213 yr Author Pretty idiotic from Tevez tbh, but there's more to meet the eye that what happened between the two of them at Manchester United than we all know. It's clear Tevez loathes him. I do think publically Manchester United have been very gracious about their defeat though. They have had to though, they give stick out enough when things go their way, Fergie especially knows that. Plus it's their fault they lost the title, Manchester United losing an eight point lead with six games to go ... mental. Although I did see a hilarious tweet about Sunderland fans cheering cos Man City winning the league and Fergie saying that Manchester United would not forget the fact that they cheered for City. Somebody replied that Sunderland would end up with Bebe on loan next season :D
May 14, 201213 yr It was because Fergie said Man City wouldn't win the league in his lifetime... That's no excuse. I hope Tevez is charged with bringing the game into disrepute. Man C have apologised but no word from Tevez himself.
May 14, 201213 yr Author That's no excuse. I hope Tevez is charged with bringing the game into disrepute. Man C have apologised but no word from Tevez himself. He's come out already and said something along the lines of 'my actions were not meant to cause offence/disrespect'.
May 14, 201213 yr He's come out already and said something along the lines of 'my actions were not meant to cause offence/disrespect'. So the idiot thinks that joking about death is funny? I still hope he gets done for bringing the game into disrepute and that he can't get out of any ban by moving to an overseas club.
May 14, 201213 yr Um whut? The same United who have been praised in the last twenty four hours for handling the defeat with pure graciousness and dignity? I know enough United fans to know that had the result been different yesterday they'd have been far from gracious in victory. As a general rule, City fans have been giddy with excitement but they've not been gloating - that's the difference between the two sets of fans.

As a general rule, City fans have been giddy with excitement but they've not been gloating - that's the difference between the two sets of fans. Given that City went into the last match only needing to beat QPR to win the title (barring a completely bonkers result at Sunderland) you could hardly blame them. I'm sure they would have found it very funny.
May 14, 201213 yr Oh Dear Steve Kean 9xcB9XfLjL8 Oops. McLeish also gone, somewhat inevitably. Given that City went into the last match only needing to beat QPR to win the title (barring a completely bonkers result at Sunderland) you could hardly blame them. I'm sure they would have found it very funny. But had the roles been reversed I don't think City would have been anywhere near as ready to gloat.
May 14, 201213 yr But had the roles been reversed I don't think City would have been anywhere near as ready to gloat. No, they would probably have dismissed it as typical City and put it down to Fergie time.
May 14, 201213 yr No, they would probably have dismissed it as typical City and put it down to Fergie time. Maybe so, but my original point was that gloating isn't in their character in the same way as United's.
May 14, 201213 yr Author The McLeish appointment in itself was perplexing. I don't know what went through the owners head. No idea who they'll go for now. Looks like Kenny might be given the boot aswell. Can't say I'd be surprised anymore.
May 15, 201213 yr What I didn't understand with the Mcleish appointment is why they'd go from wanting Martinez to Mcleish No plan in place for Aston Villa. One minute they want a manager who plays nice football and the next one that doesn't That also refers to Kenny. I don't really think Liverpool have a style of play now. One week it's 4-4-2 and the next it's 4-5-1. No real philosophy, which is why I think it'd be best for Kenny to step down and a new director of football and manager to be brought in, who can implement a style of play. At least then we can say progress is being made and we're building towards something
May 15, 201213 yr Author Well throughout the academy Liverpool play 4-2-3-1 for all age groups. Yet I think we only played it 1/2 times in the first team. The problem was we just bought a load of random players (mostly 2nd and 3rd choices). Comolli doesn't know anything about football. there was an interview with him on Talksport, and he just talked absolute rubbish. He thought high intensity running was the key to being a great midfielder. idiot. Anyway the news at the moment is Kenny's resigned so who knows.
May 15, 201213 yr Yep Pep Segura and Rodolfo Borrel have been great for our academy. I remember an interview where Rodolfo talked about wanting to implement the same style of play throughout the club 4-2-3-1 worked well for the first team at the end of last season with Spearing and Lucas holding and Maxi Meireles Kuyt and Suarez playing as a front four. Instead of building on that we decided to sell Meireles, play Maxi and Kuyt less and bought players to suit Carroll rather than Suarez I want to see us continue with 4-2-3-1 and buy players that fit that system rather than a load of random players like you said Kenny to me seems to be seen as a short term manager, but what we need right now is someone to come in with a plan and start building towards the future even if it does take us a few years to get Champions League football again

May 15, 201213 yr Author http://www.safc.com/javaImages/1c/88/0,,10281~10848284,00.jpg Must have been hilarious to watch. the Man United players were just getting ready to celebrate too. The expression of that twat Michael Owen was hilarious
