A dreary and forgettable tune...should have had a "joyous feel " imo. Can't see it doing very well in the charts!

Congratulations to the 7 people who predicted its first week sales to be less than 50k (this refers to the singles chart, if I added up the sales from the single and the album it will probably come to over 75k), who'd have expected it to have debuted low and increase massively in sales on week 2 :o It's got #1 in the bag this week in the singles chart. If it sells 150k this week it's total sales will probably be between 301 - 400k

Barlow will not go to No.1 with this song, it's crap

Mystic Meg should take tips from you both :P

Let face it - Mr.Barlow will only be No.1 on Sunday due to the attention & hype

that 'Sing' has got from the Jubilee Celebrations. Likewise for the 'Sing' Album.

Neither would be No.1 if they had to get there on merit, rather than hype & publicity.

'Sing' is utter garbage. What a pity that it was not The Carpenters Hit, of the same

name. That is a decent Song.

sales of 122k at the end of Thursday and still 2 days of selling...Job done, number 1 single and album in the bag.
I think I predicted 300k overall, which is still possible as I'm guessing this will plummet next week without all the hype of Jubilee. So not great sales overall really.
The single will sell 200k and then you factor in the album which is pretty much two versions of Sing with a couple of other tracks which has sold 100k looking at the midweeks already it does come to 300k which is pretty impressive really

You're not meant to factor in the album into consideration for "Sing - The Song"'s saleas though. I'd say he'll do around 170k first week.
first week? this is his second week fella
Oh woops my bad, I thought it was referring to the Song instead of the album .
