Ukraine - I have to admit I did quite like that one, hope it can do alright however I doubt it. Horrific vocals though

01 // United Kingdom - That was really good, an interesting ballad I think - and he seems to quite effortlessly sing it (not entirely sure if he got that last note perfect, but he still did a really good job). I loved the staging, and think we can be proud of that entry personally. 8.5/10

02 // Hungary - That's A LOT better I remembered it being from the semis, but actually felt really good and anthemic. Maybe it's just final excitement, but I genuinely think it's just me warming to what is actually a very good song. 8/10

03 // Albania - Now that I know what's coming, I'm in absolute stitches. But, on a genuine note - it's absolutely atrocious. Her shouting is unbearable, I don't believe it's technically singing, I actually think it is shouting. There's just barely even a song there. 1 point for it making me laugh throughout. 1/10

04 // Lithuania - At least with Albania, as awful as it is, I can understand that's it different. But how did this qualify? It's just awful, Josh Dubovie type awful. I could actually imagine him doing this, although that still might be harsh to Josh. Just awful, 'kinda disco' sorta thing. 2/10

05 // Bosnia & Herzegovina - The comment 'this is pleasant but rather boring' by Cal sums this up perfectly. 4/10

06 // Russia - I realise that it won't win, but I really would love it to after that. It's the only song so far that has really caused a reaction from my parents - it is just such good fun. And, the way that short 'not many teeth' granny waddles up to the get the food from another granny, makes me cry with laughter. LOVE RUSSIA. 9/10

07 // Iceland - For all the hype it's getting on this site, I want it to be better than that. It's harmless enough, and better than I remember from the first semi, but it's all a bit boring. Don't really know what else to say, cos it doesn't really induce that much of a reaction from me. 5/10

08 // Cyprus - For me, no other song comes anywhere close to being as good as this, this week. It's very RedOne, quite On The Floor, but I love what J-Lo is doing right now, and I adore this. Such good fun, so catchy, amazing. Hope it doesn't do a Rockefeller Street on me, and gets Top 10 at least. 10/10

09 // France - Listening to this again, I totally get why TomKay loves this, it's got him written all over it. Finding this song really weird, like the structure of the song seems a bit odd. It was enjoyable, and she's got good vocals, I liked the melody, the whistles. Better than I remembered it being, but the last time I heard it, I had just woke up. 7.5/10

10 // Italy - I liked that, but I'm surprised that's one of the favourites to win (not that any favourites will matter, let's face it, Loreen has it wrapped up). It was very Amy-ish, I guess, but not a rip-off of her. I enjoyed that, good fun, something quite different too but genuinely good. 7.5/10

11 // Estonia - I dunno, just a bit boring. He sells it but it is boring ultimately. Once again, don't really know what else to add. 5/10

12 // Norway - I just adore that song, it sounds better every time I hear it - it's just exciting for Eurovision to me. Like with the instrumental of Popular last year, I love the instrumental of this, it's just the sort of thing I typically love. WOO. 10/10

13 // Azerbaijan - Hadn't heard that before, so it needed to be quite immediate in order to keep up with the others. And, being completely honest, it didn't really have much of an impact on me at all. Azerbaijan nearly always send a good, would do well in the charts, type song - but this didn't seem it. 5/10

14 // Romania - Adore that, it's perfect for the current summery weather we've got a burst of. I think the performance of it could be a bit more anthemic, but I still adore it. I couldn't resist doing a little jig whilst sat down watching, so infectious. 9.5/10

15 // Denmark - It is a little bit repetitive (although I just spoke of my love for Zaleilah which is repetitive, so this may seem a bit hypocritical), but this is one is actually a grower with every listen. Alanis Morrisette was quite a good comparison by Graham also. 7/10

16 // Greece - Love this so much, it's probably climbed in to my Top 5 entries with that performance - another amazingly infectious track, which reminds me a bit of Dum Tek Tek, which is one of my favourite Eurovision songs. Such typical Eurovision pop, but who cares, LOVE IT. 9.5/10

17 // Sweden - Well, I'm pretty sure she's definitely going to win it now. Very good performance, of a very good Guetta-esque track. I think having Greece before it slightly dampened it for me, but there's no denying that's a really good song. I'd still rather see My Heart Is Refusing Me here though :( 8.5/10

18 // Turkey - I must be in a very Eurovision loving mood then, because even that has grown on me. It's like they've pulled someone from the Village People, shoved them in an Oliver musical, and added a turkish tint to the soundtrack. And, somehow I like that? I don't get it. 7/10

19 // Spain I'm gonna echo what I said before Azerbaijan. "Hadn't heard that before, so it needed to be quite immediate in order to keep up with the others". But, this time - the result is YES IT DEFINITELY DID KEEP UP. The best ballad I've heard this contest by far, what an amazing performance, and powerful song. Reminds me of Run, the Leona version, but I love that. 9/10

20 // Germany - I did quite like that, but following on from Spain, that was quite a boring ballad. I did like it though, it kinda reminded me of The Fray for some reason. Not bad, not bad at all. I liked his tone. 7/10

21 // Malta - That was quite good, in a very cheesy and dated fashion. I can't really decide how much I liked it, it is good, but not quite good enough to be great. How confusing. His voice is quite karaoke too. 7/10

22 // FYR Macedonia - On the flipside to most of the songs tonight, this has got worse since the semis. I think once you know that the ballad is gonna turn into a rocky song, it doesn't have the same effect. She sings the hell out of it, and it is still decent though. 6.5/10

23 // Ireland - See, I don't really like the fact that I don't actually know how much they're singing. It's another good song, I just don't really like them as people which stops me liking it more. I wish I could get past this, but I do enjoy the song, and am rating it quite highly, so I suppose I have got past it to an extent. 8/10

24 // Serbia - Another very good ballad, very classy - yeah, it does sound like Paradise in places. I still love the last like 50 seconds, when it builds up really big, and comes really OOMPHTASTIC. 8/10

25 // Ukraine - I almost always love Ukraine, and this is no change. It's so OTT, and quite dated, but I love the sort of, out of tune trumpets, the whole feel of it is such good fun, really anthemic - I just really like it. 9/10

Moldova - I don't remember this from the semi at all, but I'm liking it tonight! Just a very enjoyable song and performance. I don't see it doing well at all though.
Moldova, didn't think the track would get thru the semis, its nothing special, probably finish in the bottom half of the leaderboard.
Jedward making as much sense as usual then.

Estonia - 6/10

Norway - 5/10 weak vocals again

Azerbaijan - 5/10

Romania - 5/10

Denmark - 6/10 nice little song, finally the singers hair is not a mess like in the semis :D

Greece - 7/10 nice dancers, a bit less nicer song, but still catchy. I thought it's better than what I remembered tbh, but it wasn't in the end.

Sweden - 10.5/10 OMG difficult vocals, perfect performance with nice show, 10.5 because I already gave France a 10, but this was better!

Turkey - 3/10 Boring

Spain - 9/10 I really like the feeling of the song. Hopefully top 5 for these.

Germany - 9.5/10 Can't give him 10 points, but I love this song too, and Roman Lob's voice is kinda sexy. IMO he's the best male singer this year

Malta - 6/10 it started so promising, but I didn't like it too much afterwards...

Macedonia - 2.5/10 No no no... sorry. But all their neighbours will vote for it... sadly

Ireland - 4/10 Bad song, their last year's entry was far better. Plus I wouldn't allow an artist to enter the Eurovision twice. I can't believe Ireland doesn't have much better singers/groups to send to ESC. This is shit, sorry :(

Serbia - 8/10 very nice surprise!

Ukraine - 8/10 powervoice, another gay hymn á la "It's raining men"?

Moldova - 6/10 nice track, nothing outstanding though.

Moldova- I want to hate this, really I do, but I can't, good in a really really awful way

Moldova - 6.0

Decent song & performance. Nothing more than that!

01. UK - 4/10 Good vocals overall but the song is simply boring. Sounds like it could have been written 50 years ago.

02. Hungary - 5/10 Decent lite pop-rock. Nothing special.

03. Albania - 7/10 Not a song you would expect to hear on Eurovisio and that;s exactly what I like about it. Very experimental!

04. Lithuania - 3/10 Boring disco song. Nothing we haven't seen 1001 times before on Eurovision

05. Bosnia & Herzegovina - 6/10 I like this, epexially the folky elements

06. Russia - 7.5/10 cheesy as hell but (I pressume) it's meant to be a joke and I think it succeeds in that.

07. Iceland - 5.5/10 OK-ish ballad, nothing spectacular

08. Cyprus - 9/10 Definitely the song I enjoyed the most so far. Fun, fresh and full of enerrgy (even with her vocals a bit too low)

09. France - 7/10 Good song and pretty spectacular stage presence

10. Italy - 6.5/10 The song is not bad but everything about their performance screams AMY WINEHOSE. Totally unoriginal - from her moves, to her outfit, voice, backing vocalist, even some of the lyrics

11. Estonia - 8.5/10 The ballad I enjoyed the most so far + great vocals!

12. Norway - 6/10 How many times have we heard song like this. Nothing new

13. Azerbaijan - 7/10 Pleasant ballad sung beautifully, not sure if the folk motives mixed quite well with it.

14. Romania - 6/10 - Just another latino song. If I heard it on the radio I would've totally changed the channel

15. Denmark - 10/10 - Love this one! So simple but catchy!

16. Greece - 6.5/10 - Best looking girl so far but the song is nothing special unfortunately

17. Sweden - 9.5/10 - Great performance and great vocals. Even though I prefer Denmarks entry, I'll be ok if this wins.

18. Turkey - 4/10 - Awful song performed by a Borat-w/o-mustache-kinda looking guy

19. Spain - 8/10 - Power-ballad alert! The singer did great job!

20. Germany - 9/10 - I'm totally feeling this!

21. Malta - 6/10 Meh

22. Macedonia - 7.5/10 - Didn't expect lite-Norwegian rock from them, but I liked the song and the performance quite a bit

23. Ireland - 6.5/10 - Quite similar to their last years entry but the song then was much catchier

24. Serbia - 9/10 - First time I hear the song I must say I'm impressed!

25. Ukraine - 6.5/10 - A t***** diva singing a gay anthem! What would Eurobision be without a song like this

26. Moldova - 6/10 - How did this go through the semi finals?

Edited by NoiseAddict

Here's my rate for the finals that I've been doing from the start 'til now :

England : 8/10

Lithuana : 8.5/10 (can't help it, love the chorus)

Bosnia : 3/10

Russia : 5.5/10

Iceland : 3.5/10

Cyprus : 1.5/10

France : 4/10

Italy : 5.5/10

Estonia : 7/10 (starts out great but gets too bombastic)

Norway : 5/10

Azerbeidjan : 2.5/10

Romania : 3/10

Denmark : 5/10

Greece : 6/10

Sweden : 8/10

Turkey : 6/10

Spain : 2/10 (WAY too over the top)

Germany : 6.5/10 (reminded me of Lady Antebellum - Need You Now)

Malta : 2.5/10 (very annoying)

Macedonia : 4/10

Jedward : 2/10

Serbia : 9/10 (I have such a weakness for violins and the part at the beginning of the song almost breaks me down. I really feel him when he sings)

Ukraine : 1/10

Moldova : 6.5/10 (loved his clothes )

Right, Cyprus, Greece, Serbia and Romania get a vote each from this household, and no more, that way all 3 of us in the house are happy.
