Eden Hazard got sent off for Chelsea tonight for kicking a ball boy. You can't make this shit up. The ball boy was a knob, going to play the victim card when he should be punished. Hazard should have known better than to kick him.

Swansea City vs Bradford City final.

just seen the hazard v ballboy incident and tbf the ballboy over reacts, but it still doesn't excuse it. if balotelli or suarez had done it, theyd be banned for the season or something by now ;)

1. The ballboy was an idiot. He was bragging about time wasting on Twitter before the game, doesn't look good for him. Chelsea fans have a history of being horrible to people who get in their way aswell...

2. Hazard was a numpty.

3. He deserved to be sent off.

He'll get probably a 6 game ban I reckon. Makes a mockery of the John Terry incident with the FA.

Maybe, but the kid's Dad is a Director at Swansea City and a massive property tycoon. Money talks.

Brendan Rodgers: "I know Charlie [the ball boy] quite well actually. He used to do it great for me. He was taught well" :D

I reckon Manchester United have got the title sewn up again now. Not sure City can come back again this season, they're not as strong as last and their secret weapon is going through a bit of a barren spell!
If United manage to win the league while missing half of what makes a decent midfield it can't be a good time for English football.

Their midfield is not very good, but their mentality is out of this world. I've not seen the Liverpool match yet, but mistakes again have cost Liverpool. I think we're a very good side, and definite Top 4/5 material on paper, but the mentality is just not there, whereas Manchester United have it in bucket loads. A lot of teams don't decide to try and capitalise on man Utd's weak point (pressing their midfield) cos if you make a mistake they'll punish you on the counter attack. A few pundits have put it right, teams are favouring more attacking line-ups.

I think mentality has a lot to do with it. Man Utd may have weak points but they're so full on and ruthless with such good goal scorers it is like they know that it doesn't really matter how many they concede, in the Premier League at least defences aren't that good and they can easily score as many, if not more.

As for Liverpool, they can look absolutely excellent at times, against both weak teams and top ones, but their record against the other teams in the top 10 is played 13, drawn 6, lost 7, scoring 13 and conceding 23 which isn't really good enough, they can look excellent but can't beat decent teams.

What is telling though is how they've played all the top teams away from home, remaining away games are against the teams currently in 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th 18th & 19th. That leaves some huge games at Anfield to come.

It looks even more incredible that United without Van Persie and Vidic (and against an imperious City) were only a minute away from winning it last season. As soon as the August transfer window shut and City hadn't signed anyone great we should have guessed what was going to happen. Well, and when Chelsea came unstuck because I still have no idea how that team managed to go out of the CL so early.

Man Utd just always look like their going to score. I can't think of a better strike force that Rooney and Van Persie currently. Definitely the signing of the season.

Well last season we could beat the top teams, just not the bottom teams. This season though the better teams know how to beat us. We're not very good as being pressed (but we're getting better) and we're highly susceptible to the counter attack . The better teams can beat us by pressing us and forcing us in to a mistake. Liverpool are getting better though, I think Rodgers has finally worked out his best XI. I thought 4th was a pipe dream but having seen the remaining fixtures it's in our hands still. Everton, Chelsea and Spurs have to come to Anfield. Can easily be done, but think we'll end up 3/4 points away in the end.

Chelsea's problem is the midfield is absolutely abysmal. I'm not surprised they're so inconsistent under Rafa, because the two most important players under his system is the two holding midfielders, and they have noone good enough to do the job. Ramires is their best midfielder, but not sure he's suited to the role Rafa needs him for.

They miss Mikel, I think he's been really underrated the last couple of years. Luiz has the potential to be a great midfielder but he's still too rash, Lampard still has a role and it's hard to argue with him being in the team when he contributes goals so consistently.

I think their biggest problem is an unsettled defence - they have the personnel but they've been so disorganised since Terry started regularly missing games.

Mikel is slightly underrated, but he's nothing more than a good squad player. Luiz is just shocking, not a midfielder in a million years. Doesn't have the vision, calmness, technique or right agression to play there. And Lampard is so unbelieveably overrated it hurts. I'm not surprised the higher beings at Chelsea want rid of him, he's just not good enough off the ball. Although saying that he's a leader and those types of players aren't really around anymore.

Totally agree about Terry, it's the same reason why Rodgers has started playing Carragher again. Someone who takes charge and tells people what to do breeds confidence and security. They've missed him massively.

I still don't understand why Chelsea let Essien go on loan to Real Madrid. I think he's a great asset to the Chelsea team.

Oh I'd be laughing if I was a Derby fan. I'd kill for your stability. Nigel gets a lot of abuse (some of it deserved) but he's done a decent job there, as much as it pains be to admit it it's a decent role model club. When Forest play Derby soon it'll be five different managers in five games that Clough has faced. Utterly bonkers!

And now Forest have lost yet another manager.
