I doubt it as well, but it won't be as easy as it has been against Carlisle earlier in the season. I think we have improved a good deal, unbeaten for six games.

What a difference a manager can make. Sunderland actually playing attacking football the first time this season. Good riddance Martin O'Neil.
Newcastle have just lost 3-0 at home to Sunderland

I'd laugh if both Wolves and Blackburn got relegated after being in the Prem last season.

Think Blackburn will stay up cos of Rhodes, but Wolves look certs to go down at the moment. It's incredibly close though how The Championship is. I think there's 1/2 two teams that are better than the rest, and vice-versa for the worst, but then for everyone else it's pretty much an even playing field. It's exactly same in League 2.

Massive result for Sunderland today. Could be finally be seeing the end to Stoke!?!? I can't see where there next point will come from.

In terms of general form, I think Cardiff and Hull should be where they are, they are the only two who haven't really had any bad form as such. Hull's form is erratic but I wouldn't call it bad, seeing as it always seems to be something like "in the last 6 games..." and it's always positive.

Others around them (Watford, Crystal Palace etc.) have had bad sections with hardly any wins.

I bloody well hope so!

It's certainly an exciting season in all three leagues.

As for Blackburn, hope they can put this chaotic season behind them. Kean I thought was doing well this season, missed the rumoured target by one point I seem to recall. They'll need a long term strategy in place for next season and convince whoever takes over that they mean long term so this club can get back to the top tier.

The thing is with Blackburn is I imagine the Venkeys actually enjoy the turmoil. It's excellent publicity for them. I don't think they have/will have any strategy in place. The club's hierarchy is in a complete mess, until that's sorted out, then the manager position will always be rendered useless.

I don't like how Blackburn treated Appleton (another Salford lad!), so wouldn't mind them never getting back to the Premiership again.

I hope Cardiff get up, would be strange seeing an all-Welsh Prem game though! And then I expect Hull to win promotion.

In the last 14 games (since beginning of Feb) Hull have won 9 and lost 5. They lose against everyone who's decent (Brighton, Bolton, Palace, Forest and Watford - all top 8 teams) and beat everyone who's average/crap. It means they should go up, but it doesn't exactly bode well...

It's weird, in the reverse fixtures we have won four and drew the other against those 5. It just goes to show how random Hull's season has been. We can win against good teams and lose against crap teams in the first half of the season, then do the exact opposite in the second half of the season.

I wonder how the next three games are going to pan out (they are against the bottom three clubs!).

I agree with your last sentence though, I don't know how we are going to cope if we get promoted. I mean I would love to start off the season the same way we did when we first got promoted but continue it (like Stoke, but not the shit Stoke that they are now ).

Stoke's problem is they've become so good at what they do, they've forgotten they actually need to score goals. They spend the whole game trying to be physical and impose themselves on the other team. There's also a severe lack of Plan B. Pulis is so arrogant about their style, and they literally can't do anything other than hoof, hoof, hoof.
Delap has played just once for them this season & they're on the verge of being relegated (we hope)... coincidence?

He's the reason I dislike Stoke.

Only got up through his abnormal throwing ability, only stayed up through his abnormal throwing ability (in my opinion anyway).

I can't see Stoke losing many of their ''footballers'' if they get relegated, so I think they'd be odds-on for a return in their first year.

(Begovic, Shawcross & I could see Jones leaving) the rest is pure mediocrity.

Not convinced. I'm not sure how effective hoofball is in the Championship these days, all the teams that seem to be doing well seem to be more footballing teams, or at least sides that have a Plan B.

Stoke getting relegated would be fantastic, I really dislike their formations and tactics. They are easily the most boring team in the Premiership. I don't know why but I'm supporting Wigan surviving, I like their manager.

Wigan are a good side, I usually enjoy watching them so I too shall be rooting for Wigan to get out of the relegation mix. Two games in hand, one against Manchester City coming up tomorrow...

As for Stoke, they rarely set the heart on fire for exciting football. I wonder how many times they have featured last on MOTD...
