Still top 3 on iTunes is excellent and I do hope Chart Show TV/Dance Nation/Capital continue to play the track next week (or for the new month? :D ) to help keep the track higher up the charts as it deserves to have as much success as it possibly can. 2. Saint Etienne - Over The Border (4) (CR-4-2) Must check out this song. Saint Etienne have released some cracking tracks over the years. Wasn't overly keen on their last single though, so hopefully this is much better. 3. Ivi Adamou - La La Love (11) (CR-20-11-8-17-OUT-69-69-OUT-65-OUT-11-3) I actually think this is going to be the second biggest Eurovision 2012 hit in my chart too. :lol: Whilst I still really like 'Korake Ti Znam' and 'Zaleilah', 'La La Love' has continued to grow since the final. 5. Kylie Minogue - Timebomb (NEW) (CR-5) Poor Kylie. I really don't understand her record company at all. Whoever is responsible for Kylie's marketing have failed once again. 'Timebomb' is a decent track but has clearly been handled terribly, hence the OA/OS release providing a #31 entry, but the fact it's plummeted down iTunes since Monday resulting in the song climbing just a few places. A Sunday release would've been a far better move from the record company. It just amazes me that there are people working in the music industry who clearly haven't a clue what they're doing. :lol: 6. Mandinga - Zaleilah (3) (CR-35-8-6-5-8-11-15-17-OUT-2-3-6) We've finally arrived at the weekend of the year where Eurovision finally has its dominance in my personal chart. Several of the finalists entries are expected to enter in my chart tomorrow. However, they will be up against other new releases as well. Plus, the recent BJSC contest is going to start impacting my chart too. Safe to say it's going to take me forever to compile my new chart. :D 7. Rudimental feat John Newman - Feel The Love (NEW) (CR-7) ...and here's another one those new releases set to do well tomorrow. I'd never even heard this until Monday morning after seeing it race up iTunes, especially after this replaced Loreen at #1. It's a really good track and I'm happy that this is #1 over Gary Barlow's Diamond Jubilee cash in. 8. Cheryl - Call My Name (13) (CR-9-9-13-8) Why is Cheryl such an average singer? :no: It's a shame because I really do think this is probably the best single Cheryl Cole has released so far, but her average vocals really spoil the song for me. If she had a stronger vocal range, I'd like this so much more. I reckon if Alexandra Burke was released this, it'd sound so much better. 10. Maroon 5 feat Wiz Khalifa - Payphone (16) (CR-18-13-16-10) Not quite as good as 'Moves Like Jagger' but it's still pretty decent. I do prefer the version without Wiz Khalifa though. His raps doesn't really add anything to the song but that's just my opinion on the song (don't let Eric Blob see this :P ). 14. Mr Little Jeans - Runaway (6) (CR-2-2-3-6-14) Due to how my chart is compiled, 'Runaway' is still on my "waiting list" (or Future Releases if you like :P ) but is expected to enter my Pre-Release chart tomorrow. So come 9th June 2012, Mr Little Jeans should enter my top 40. :D Which judging from your chart, it'll be out of your top 20 by then. Then again, Prance Faris was out of your top 20 by the time I entered 'Flares' at #1 so it's not all bad. 17. Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band featuring Military Wives - Sing (12) (CR-12-17) I've given this song a lot of stick, especially leading up to its release as I was convinced this would be a UK #1. I will admit that in all fairness 'Sing' is a pleasant song, one that could even enter my chart tomorrow (other new entries pending). 19. Tal - Le Sens De La Vie (NEW) (CR-19) Oohh!!! :D Has this charted off the back of my chart last week? This was actually a song I'd considered entering into BJSC but thought a French language track wouldn't go down too well. However, it makes my chart thanks to its success in France and Wallonie thus entering the HIT30 for a few weeks. In comparison, I know TAL was entered into BJSC last year with 'On Avance' which peaked at #37 in my chart. That pretty much sums up how much more I like this song. :P 20. Agnes - One Last Time (NEW) (CR-20) During our downtime, I did visit the Scandipop website where I read about this. It's not quite as instant as 'Release Me' and has a much more mature sound. Would be interesting to see how this would fare with a UK release, with radio support. No doubt this would be veto'd if someone tried to confirm this track into BJSC. Thanks Hits, it's great to see everything back to normal indeed! 1. Down to 11 on iTunes now but could be worse really, a second week in the top 20 is guaranteed it seems at least! 2. It's a really unique spoken verse style track, I absolutely love it! 3. It's a massive grower, the performance was fantastic which helped, shame it couldn't finish top ten! 5. True, but it looks like it wouldn't have gone top ten anyway, perhaps Kylie days as a huge hit single maker are finally over a la Madonna? :o 7/17. It's no more obvious a winner than Rebecca Stella, Carly Rae Jepsen and Emma Lewin were, and clearly they went on to landslide it... :mellow: *Lawson - When She Was Mine I was a little worried this would steal Loreen's #3 position in the UK chart! It's quite a decent song though for a boyband! Nina Zilli - L'Amore è Femmina (Out Of Love) I am loving this now! I don't know whether it was because it was deemed a threat to Loreen that it didn't click with me before, but since the contest it's really grown on me!

I haven't been as vocal in the Icona Pop debate as I perhaps should have, but to me it's just not a song that deserved vetoing. In my opinion, if I Love It should have gone then so should have about 8-10 other tracks that are on a similar level to it and as it currently stands, the vetoing system (or at least my personal criteria for vetoing) isn't as strict as that.
