June 8, 201213 yr Great news, I loved her first two albums and liked the third, but she's gone downhill SO fast, Karma from the last album was amazing though. A return to the old soul covers that made her amazing should reignite my love.
June 8, 201213 yr On her last album she was trying way too hard to be authentic. She has a good voice but I just don't like (most of) her material.
June 8, 201213 yr This'll be interesting. I feel she's never really hit the nail with her music. Her first album was her best, along with her second.
June 8, 201213 yr Author This'll be interesting. I feel she's never really hit the nail with her music. Her first album was her best, along with her second. Certainly, I have to agree slightly. I do absolutely love her first two albums to bits, and Introducing was good as well but the last two albums haven't been that great, however I do still like them as I would love anything with her vocals on as for me, she has one of my favourite voices in the music industry and the last two albums still have some gems like 'Governmentalist' and 'Last To Know'. I am really hoping this will be brilliant, which I think it has the potential to be if its anything like the first Soul Sessions. 'Teardrops' is a Womack & Womack cover as well I believe, which I especially look forward to.
July 15, 201213 yr every artist goes through transition, her 1st 2 albums played non stop in my car, yeah can see what direction she wants, looking forward to future works
July 21, 201212 yr Author What a comeback! DEAD. This album is brilliant, right back to the greatness of her first two releases. Shame that the level of interest is so low in her now, with a voice like her's she should be a voice of a GENERATION.
July 23, 201212 yr Author The lack of interest in this is making me very sad. Fantastic performance of 'High Road' from the album: 3fLFURJ2BEc
