dont like him, but yes, freddie mercury was the epitome of a good frontman. he had unique style, charisma, what else would you need...
I agree, Freddie Mercury had it all  There'll never be another one like him!!

I detest Queen with every fibre of my being, but I will concede that Freddie was a great showman.

Johnny Rotten

Sioxusie Sioux

Deborah Harry

Iggy Pop

Morrissey

Nick Cave

Jim Morrison

I'm not a big fan of Freddie & the boys, but I have to agree that he was probably the best frontman since the 1960s.

Here is my Top10.

1. Freddie Mercury (Queen)

2. Morrissey (The Smiths)

3. Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)

4. John Lydon (Sex Pistols/P.I.L.)

5. Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones)

6. Liam Gallagher (Oasis)

7. Noddy Holder (Slade)

8. Jim Morrison (The Doors)

9. Debbie Harry (Blondie)

10. Michael Hutchence (INXS)

As this list is bands I have excluded the likes of Bowie, Prince, Iggy Pop & a certain R.Williams.

dont know.

however think a shout should be given to arthur brown for setting his head on fire, and that man from the 70s who wore a plantpot on his head
