I'm pleased that the genuinely good girl band 'classics' are coming higher up, after a disappointing start. Freak Like Me, Stay, Spice Up Your Life, Sexy No No No are all CHOONS.

That Stay is only one place ahead of the complete non-entity that is Ego DISGUSTS ME to my CORE.

#20 Hole In The Head - really like this song but its nowhere near as good as some people make out

#19 Wannabe - one of the worst Spice singles imo, although I still love it, glad its not their highest rated here

#18 Never Ever - great All Saints song deffo a classic, glad to see it this high

#17 Ego is by far my fave Saturdays song, amazing I would class it as a classic already!

#16 Stay is a brilliant song, shame its the only one of theirs I really take notice of

#15 Sexy! No No No... my #1 song in the countdown, tbh I didn't expect to see it this high so I'm happy although 6 other GA ahead of it? such a unique song!

#14 Freak Like Me, another of Sugababes that I really like but I again think is a tad overrated, they have far better

#13 Spice Up Your Life, again this is one of my worst Spice singles but it is such a legendary song as it is so specific to them and captures their global domination!

Ego will not even be remembered a year from now except by a bunch of gays on the internet, much less is it a 'classic'!!! Sorry to be BRUTAL but THERE YA GO

 

Each to their own, I have lots of songs I would class as a classic for myself that probably the majority of Britain wouldn't even know about, just for a random example 'Memory Of You' a b-side of Girls Aloud.

 

'Ego' should have been a lot bigger than it was imo!

YAY. Two Girls Aloud songs fall out just before the top ten, which means they 'only' have four in the top ten. First up is one of their better songs that is left, 'Something Kinda Ooooh'. It used to be my favourite GA song, but over the past year or so it's lost its magic with me. Still better than pretty much all of the GA songs that are above it though.

Just missing out on a place in the top ten due to more people voting for the song above it is 'The Promise'. One of my least favourite GA songs, I really don't understand how it is this high and why 16 of you love it so much!

I'm really surprised too! :( It seems the Sugababes loons of this site didn't vote at all.

I didn't want to vote because it would be a bit biased with almost only Sugababes in my votes. Not pleased at all that the only top10 song they have is 'About Yer Now'! They have much better.

Although GA have four songs in the Top 10, I bet the overrated 'About You Now' wins. <_<

Ego is proper overrated, it's their 3rd weakest single IMO (after If This Is Love and Forever Is Over) although as it's them I do still really like it :P

 

Preferably a GA track to win but it'll probably be Pure Shores or About You Now (both great but overrated).
