Really? I've listened to it several times and can't remember how it goes. If it wasn't by Wynter Gordon I'd have forgotten it was in the contest. It looks about right where it is.

 

Skall is definitely going to do better than the bottom few I think, but like LexC says, it has little of winning so it makes sense where it is. Urban Cone is another song that's being rather underpredicted. I think that could come in the top half fairly easily.

There is not a chance that Zedd will finish top 5. It won't appeal to the indie folk at all I think and I can't see it appeal to the pure pop fans either, it's only those between that may like it... and the dance fans I guess, of which there are very few!

Incorrect but I can only speak on behalf of myself. I consider myself to be a pure pop fan and I LOVE IT.

Pshhh this contest is totally open this time methinks, there's a lot of middling songs like you were describing so I think it's an open field and that yours has a better chance of doing well than most of the other middling songs~

Honestly I wasn't being modest... I really don't expect it to appeal to that many people and, until just now, I'd only seen it mentioned by Lee and not in anyone's personal charts or anything (not that I particularly look there though to be fair)

 

I've been thinking it all contest long but didn't want to say before now as I knew it would come across as all "oh woe, please vote as nobody loves me" etc - plus to be honest, I won't be gutted if it doesn't do too well either, I was happy enough that the tactic of me sending something a little bit different to my usual sound actually resulted in a qualification for once! If a handful of people really like it then that will be a bonus.

You definitely will. It's a song that the people who love it will give very high points to I think and it stands out from the crowd - similar to how your last (and equally excellent) entry did much better than people expected.

I wouldn't want to give away what I may or may not vote for but Zedd is my least favourite Fljótavík entry! :(

As for me I have absolutely NO IDEA how well it'll do and I've seen odds and predictions of really high and really low so I'll settle for anything really.

I have no idea where to place your entry either, I could see it finishing top 5 but could just as easily see it finishing bottom 5 too - very hard to call it.
