Follow-up to the platinum selling Do It Like That:

It's certainly no Raining Diamonds or even a Do It Like That but it's pretty good.

Better than Do it like that which is just like cheap rip-off of "run the world" by Beyonce.

If anything Do It Like That sounds more like an homage to her own previous singles (Can't Touch This) than anything by Beyoncé! To these ears anyway. The album snippets are on iTunes. It sounds pretty killer.

 

Exactly, Do It Like That it just an attempt at recreating Can't Touch This (understandly as it was her biggest hit) than anything else, and seeing as it went platinum it clearly worked!

 

Crazy is really good, I think I prefer it to DILT and it could actually overtake Raining Diamonds for me! I like the way that all the singles so far are a little different, althought they're nothing revolutionary admittedly.

I'm liking 'Go Crazy' but not as much as the first two singles. I still wish someone would give Ricki a push here in the UK, 'Do It Like That' would do particularly well here I think. It just seems to have more of a UK sound than 'Raining Diamonds' and this song do, I can't really describe why though! :lol:

 

Anyway, I don't think it's worth making a separate thread for this yet but here is the album artwork for 'Fear & Freedom'.

For the Ricki-Lee fans out there, the album 'Fear & Freedom' managed to enter the album charts at #7! :cheer: That is by far better than her first 2 albums which charted at #30 and #37! :D
