July 17, 201213 yr I think this is probably a Pitbull song. Disappointing. :( It's ok for a Pitbull song, but if Fergie returns to music I want her to stay AWAY from stuff this generic please.

Pitbull's credited as a feature on Itunes with Fergie as the main artist. I do agree with you about steering away from the generic stuff though. Edited July 17, 201213 yr by levibep
July 17, 201213 yr Yeah, I wouldn't have expected a song like this from Fergie. From her previous album, she had really unique songs like Fergalicious on there. Fergie has also done another song for some advert in the US, I think it's like perfume or something. I heard a clip of it, and it's also a dance song. She might aswell do another solo album, she can put thsoe two songs on there, Gettin' Over You, and record some stuff. We NEED her.
July 17, 201213 yr It's QUITE good. She's lucky she's got a distinctive voice otherwise I probably wouldn't like it as much. The "wake me up in the mornin'" bit is amaze. I would be very happy if she releases any song similar to 'Fergalicious' or 'Glamorous'!

On second listen I guess I can see why it can be credited as a Fergie song, it just has a really weird structure. The fact that Pitbull is heard first and has a proper verse, while Fergie tends to repeat the same three lines over and over until it gets near the end just makes it messy. To polish it up, I'd give Fergie a proper verse at the start and move Pitbull to the middle 8 because it doesn't work as it is.

July 21, 201213 yr I was actually listening to my mates mum singing "Party People" last night, and actually thinking we need a new Fergie album!! Step 1, no more Pitbull, step 2, same as what she did last time! PERFECT
July 21, 201213 yr Is there any artist that hasn't made a song together with Pitbull yet? The EXACT thing I was going to say. It's ridiculous tbh. What makes him so special? I just cannot for the love of Jonna Lee see it :/
July 22, 201213 yr Fergalicious  Now that was an anthem, criminal it wasnt released in the UK though!
